I did read your guide, and am trying to make a decision on soil. Obviously for me I am a novice grower, so simplicity would be nice, but at the same time I want to be successful! What's your input on this @912GreenSkell?

Promix HP is a fantastic medium right out of the bag. Its a bit pricey, but a bail goes a long, long ways. There is no nutrients in it though, so you have to feed the entire course.

The water only soil mixes are appealing (because I can only visit the plants every 7-10 days), but their are so many methods and recipes it makes my head spin.
