IMG_0048.jpg

I have started to put my growroom/cupboard together i think ive got it about right, the strings through the CFL's were strictly testers lol im changing to some sort of metal wire.
I put three beans into germ today so i take it im on day 1 (Strains below)
1xSuper Cali Haze
1xThink different
1xAuto amnesia
I have taken into consideration that the SCHaze and TD will take longer than the Auto Amnesia..... Thats why i have backups :Holy Moly:
When the Amnesia finishes i will have germed a Blue Himalayan Diesal and depending on room i got Auto Northan Lights as a freeby so maybe that aswell

Nutes Will Include: Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Rootjuice Root Stimulater from Bio Bizz and maybe TopMax or another bloom stimulater??
I will be using Bio Bizz All Mix Organic Potting Soil and i will be attempting to grow these under 2x 125Watt CFL's one of the to is Dual Spectrum Due to funds i have had to try and fashon a intake fan with a hole in the roof and sitting fan on the hole, im hoping that this will work????

Well i think thats about all i have on this post ill keep you all updated
Hop digity :bong:

Hi ABC

Looking good! I've not seen a light hanging setup as ghetto as that since i made my first cab hehe. I used string aswell - but can recommend garden wire.

Thats your out take fan :) it's best at the top as it will remove the heat. Do you have a small hole in the bottom for fresh air to be sucked in by that fan as it's taking the hot air out?

Sounds like a nice lineup - there's a really good biobizz thread here, i'll find the link and post it in minute :)

i was gonna be blowing cold air in from the attick not really boverd about the smell as smoke up in the house any way :stylez rasta smoke:

and its all about the ghetto light rigging couldnt see any other way ov doing it and just gonna rip the washing line down as it has metal wire running through

Ah, the fan on top is blowing in!!

Wouldn't it be better to have it sucking out? and then a small hole at the bottom.
This would give you air exchange. And all you need to do is turn the fan round and cut a small hole for a passive intake (i say at the bottom so you get air movement with fan sucking freash clean air accross your plants up to the out take.

Just my thoughts :)

ill have too see how it works out when i cut the holes ill turn the lights on the abit check the temps see if there right.... and its a built in cupboard so how will fresh air get in through the bottom (sorry if im just being thick lmao)

Edit: I think i misunderstood your cab setup - by built in wardrobe do you mean there's no way of cutting a hole at the bottom?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh i get it now its just floor board under it ill find a way lol, your to helpful ahaa now im off fan to get 2 fans Hop digity

Blue is correct again, and don't worry, you are not being thick, being thick would be not asking questions.
Firstly, it will probably be warmer in your attic so sucking air in will not cool your grow area, as Blue says, suck the air from the top of your grow room into your attic and a few small holes lower down will pull cooler air into the grow room as the warmer air above is sucked out.
Warm air rises so the hottest air you want to dispel will be above your plants with the cool air you want to suck in being lower, and herein lies another issue.
Depending on many variables it could be that the temperature at floor level is too cool to suck in over your plants and could cause issues, I know these oddities from keeping reptiles.
The best bet I would recommend would be a line of holes each about and inch or 25mm in diameter, about 3 inches or 75mm apart running vertically from floor level up to the height of half way up your grow area, you then have an infinitely adjustable way of pulling in cool air by simply covering or uncovering the holes with bits of gaffer tape (duct tape in USA)
Too hot ? uncover more holes nearer the floor.
Too cool ? Cover the lower holes and have a few holes at say, a foot or so off the floor, its all a matter of watching for and recognising signs of stress.
All you need in that instance is a camera and the ability to post photos and you can guarantee someone on here will know what your issue is.
Other than that you are on to a winner with that set up.
Happy growing.

Blue beat me to it but a picture is worth a thousand words.
Nice one Blue.

now im off fan to get 2 fans

You mean one for the top - and movement fan for inside right?? :) thats all you need!
(no need for a fan at the bottom hole)

ive just been sat looking at the cupboard nd dontt think gonna b able to cut hole out of the bottom any other ideas?
