Indoor Sweet Seeds Pure Red Family multi-stain grow

Day 6 and its Red Poison, I need serious help, I really dont know what is going on with this seedling. I'm so confused, the colour is awful, and I think it has two heads, but I really don't know.

It started life as a coconut of a seed, not only in size but in shape. It was round on one side but looked "pregnant" on the other. When it germinated it looked like it had got caught in the seed case while germinating. This caused the first real leaves to come out bent, cut and generally twisted. I was devastated .




The second set of leaves came out and one was fine but the other has had its tip removed whilst unfolding. Both sets of leaves then started to rotate around the plant towards each other. This means of the first two sets of leaves 180* of the plant have no leaves, they are all in the other half lol.

Now the third set show themselves and it looks like this plant has split itself into two heads. The leaves are still small but it looks like two seperate sets of leaves emerging, and the stem appears to be splitting in the same place.

Has anyone ever heard of or seen this happening before, I am really lost lol

Her colour doesn't look too bad mate, it's common to find leaf mutations with autos in the seedling stage. Don't worry though, every plant that I've seen on this forum classed as a mutant has gone on to grow into a normal size plant

dont freak at all, that lil one looks strong, just let her work it out on her own. trying to correct things can sometimes lead to more issues. give that lil seedling some time especially since you said it was an odd seed and shell was lil stuck thats stuff that can cause oddness early but wont hurt in the long run

Since it's from the pure red family, I would find a seedling with a dark purple stem like that to be particularly intriguing. And it looks super healthy. Grow it out dude, for sure. It's an interesting pheno - I'd love to pop a seedling like that one.

My first black cream started out with that coloring too and it was also a mutant lol

Bought a 3 pack of the B.C's and every seed produced a mutant so looks like its a common thing

I have issues with my red poison too looks mutated yours is growing way quivker than mine too I may have stunted mine with over watering at the start mine is 8 days old now under 135 watt led

What you see there Kylie is an unlimited potential of heads... so many your mind can't conceive of how many tops can come from that thing. For generations to come they will grow, seed, regenerate and grow some more. Untold hundreds, thousands, dare I say even millions?
