Testing the Wild Thing (USA Only)

Wild Thing R2 outdoor tester plant still chugging along. I believe it's roughly day 30 from germination. Im getting a few issues worked out in the current veg area and getting a bit better growth pattern here over the last week. She's going to be a beastly outdoor girl this year. I just topped her again tonight so hopefully over the next week she will bush out nicely.

Week 3
Howdy y’all :toke:
It’s Day #22 for my Wild Thing babies. We are still chugging along. #1 is starting to show some life and #2 is slowly starting to stretch some. After reading JeanO’s post above mine, I wonder if I should have went to a 1gal or 3gal container before going into this 5gal grobucket system . Maybe I’m just worrying too much. I was afraid they weren’t green enough either, first time I’m trying that 3.0 build your own stuff, so I’m worrying about everything :crying:

Here’s a few photos from this last week Sunday I filled the bottom reservoir, so that was officially the first bottom water. I’m going to lay in some straw tomorrow.
Photos are from Friday, Sunday and today.

I don't always up pot. Just usually the outdoor photoperiods I up pot generally because I don't have the room for them. Normally I would have just started them in a 5 or 7 gallon pot right from the start but space is still an issue while I'm rebuilding the grow room and the rest of the house. Luckily with the photoperiods you still have time to get them a nice lush green before flower. I feed Synganics mostly water only with Dr Earth dry amendments but I do also use general hydroponics 3 part and Fox Farm trio. Usually if they are getting a lighter color I'll just add a bit of the grow to a feeding once a week and top dress a bit of Earth worm castings. I don't usually start to feed them bottled nutrients until after 30 days. I'm a big fan of crop steering also so I generally aim for a fair amount of dry back in between watering.

Missed a post, but here they are… the other ones died off. One wild thing and two crazy s1 did not make it. These seem slow but will be uppotted with dynomyco into 1.5 gal pots this weekend

21 days today. They will be going into the other 4x4 in SIP buckets under a Scrog net. Was gonna do OD but lost a few so plans have changed.

Earley update New
The Wild Things are literally going wild. I repotted them into 5-gallon buckets and have given them a dose of roots organics Elemental and the other white stuff on the top is diatomaceous earth.
I was short on soil and bought the last roots organics Lush potting soil and mixed one bucket 50/50 and one bucket straight Lush that is a little hotter than the original roots potting soil that I used in the other 3.
Anywho Wild Thing heads will roll as soon as they recover from the transplant  Happy Farming

And can anyone with more photoperiod experience let me know if it is normal to see leafy growth in the spots where we typically see preflowers at this time in autoflowers. when I have seen it on autoflowers the Veg period is never long enough for the growth to do anything so I would pluck them off is that the approach I should take here?
