I've started all my grows on 24/0, completed my first grow with 24/0 start to finish also. I was going to switch them to 20/4 after two weeks but as they all started at different times I kinda lost track of the idea, the only adverse effect from 24/0 with LED's I've seen is the magnesium hunger, which can be combated with more calmag. Next grow will be 20/4, saves money all around - I just wanted these girls to have as much light as possible considering they are sharing the two units.

Let's hope so bro, BAM will come down first and then the dragons will have more space/light to soak it up for the last couple weeks, hopefully she will get chunky in that time.. and yep it's something I've come to accept with the 24/0 lighting, deficiencies will come on stronger but I'm trying to stay on top of it with decent doses of calmag, almost ran out! :Sharing One:

Hey guys, few more pics today. MS res is stable so I've left her to it and SD had another feed today.

Just a short update today, had to do a res change on my BAM so thought I might as well snap a few pics
I gave the girl a little squeeze again to comment on the smell and the best way to describe SD's scent right now is to compare it to this:

Very very sweet smelling, almost like sherbet..the MS is similar in smell but slightly muskier so not as "pure" as the SD but still potent and dank! Really cant wait to sample my first Dragons, gonna be a great day
Moonstone is still suffering from mag def under 24 hour lighting but I'd like to complete this grow 24/0 from start to finish, to keep all the records/findings simple. Next grow I will do 20/4 and then possibly an 18/6 run if you so wish Stone. Her buds are starting to size up now and she is super dense, nice tight inter nodal spacing, I have a feeling I can get a lot more out of this strain once I'm back to growing one girl at a time.

SD although the smallest, is my favourite plant in my tent right now, you did a reaaally great job with her stone as far as hardiness is concerned and like I said I cant wait to try her, could be a stunner in DWC. I've not really been following any strict feeding guidelines just really taking it easy, I think soon I will start to introduce the organic pk booster, I haven't used it yet and she isn't even under direct light but I want to see her get as fat as possible so I think why not?

You are right buddy but I'd like to keep the whole cycle 24/0 just for the records, then next grow on 20/4 and I can make a nice comparison..just ordered more cal mag last night to keep up with the girls! :Sharing One:

Afternoon all, I took a few more pictures today with the decent camera so thought I'd share them. Res change on monday, MS res has been very consistent at 1.5 and 1.6 EC (1.9 -2.0 total). I've listed two EC's because the weather has been quite warm lately and I'm topping up with cold tap water to keep the temps down so some days I leave her at 1.5 and others 1.6. She will be on 3/4 strength Boost next week and I'm predicting she will want her EC at 1.7-1.8 (2.1-2.2 total) as she is quite a hungry girl.

I've had to restock on Cal/Mag products and to ensure I get it before Monday's res change I've opted for a different nutrient from my original Plant Magic MagneCal+. I was doing some research and found that Canna have released something called MonoNutrients (Google it if you're not aware like me). They're basically bottled nutes but specific elements, they have Nitrogren, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium and others. Supposedly they are designed to work with Canna's whole range of nutes whether you're in soil coco or hydro which is pretty neat. I managed to get a 1L bottle of both Magnesium and Calcium for £23. This works out cheaper than a CalMag combo and I plan to use them together to treat deficiencies and run alongside my regular nutes. This is an experimental step and I will make a little review of the products once I've used them for a short while - hopefully a positive review.

Anyway, on with the photos..SD first.
