Morning everyone, first of all I'd just like to say good luck to everyone taking part in the competition, and a big thanks to Stone for putting up yet more seed prizes :Sharing One:
I have another short update for you guys today as things are starting to move on. P2 decided she would be helpful and showed me her tap root last night, it's just about long enough to be in the water now so I'm classing today as day 1 for P2.
My female SD is also doing well, doesn't seem to mind being transferred to soil - I can't check on the roots like in DWC but I'm sure they're doing okay, her tap root was about an inch long before transplanting.

Hey guys, I know there's not a whole lot of progress to be updating right now but I do enjoy a thorough journal. P2 should be taking off any moment, her tap root is fully submerged so let the fun begin..The res is still at 0.6EC so may up that to 0.8 tomorrow or the next day if she looks hungry.
SD coming along nicely too, she's the one I'm most worried about messing up because my brain now feels set up for hydro..I guess it will be nice to have synthetic hydro dragon bud and organic soil dragon bud at the same time..can't really complain can I?

Hey all, got a few pics in natural light today. By natural light I mean the room CFL just outside of the tent 
It's kinda hard for me to get any genuine natural light pics without having to move them really far or putting them in view of the neighbours - not a good idea so these will have to suffice for now
Not much to report on the SD, still growing slightly ahead of her sister but I have a feeling not for long. She's less stable than the dwc girls because there are no pebbles holding her strong, I've got a small air circulation fan on her now to hopefully strengthen her a bit.
Still not much movement topside for P2 but when I checked her roots today her tap root has tripled in size and there's another cheeky one starting to pop out of the net pot, all good! She's also on 0.8EC now so she doesn't get hungry.
Sorry not the best pics I know, will get my hands on a better camera at some point before harvest. Take care all

Afternoon all, just did a res change on my BAM so snapped a few pics whilst in the tent Today is day 4 for the Dragon babies.
P2, roots still developing well, PH 5.7 EC 0.8. I upped the EC by 0.2 yesterday and she's already turning a nicer shade of green.
SD, still feeding just plain tap water when needed. I'm in two minds about what to feed this girl, the soil nutes I have are Plant Magic organic range but very few additives. I'd like to try my first synthetic soil attempt with this SD but the only nutes I have which aren't hydro nutes is Canna Coco - anybody ever tried using this stuff in soil? Could be a nice experiment but I don't intend on wasting a single Dragon. Let me know your thoughts.
