Dragon Meds The Dragon Tests - Pal

I see questions already been answered pooping and I think it is time to start a communal thread about everything SD and outcrosses related so everyone can drop pictures, ask questions and have fun with guessing games and prizes  Then I will clean this thread and put all related posts there "AFN smoke out"

Moonstone has now over taken my BlueMazar EC wise, she got upped to 1.4 (1.8 total) today since it had dropped since yesterday.

She is getting hungry eh  Any smell developing?

YES! Please!

Is that guessing game still on?
It looks like my guesses were going to be low..lol
I find it amazing that they can go from a sexually mature 6" seedling to a big flowering plant in a matter of weeks.
That transformation is so cool..
Going to check for the Stone Dragon general info thread now.

just went in to give her a little rub ;) The smell I got was a kind of sweet, earthy hash..kind of like the smell of sticky black when burning - sweeeeet :) I don't know if I was able to distinguish this smell easier after learning she has pakistani landrace in her but it was definitely more present today as flowering is progressing. :peace:

p.s I haven't forgotten about those logos etc, just had my hands full brother :Sharing One:

Having some trouble uploading photos today, bit annoying since I took more than usual but I'm sure it will be fixed soon. Moonstone res is very stable, hasn't shifted at all so I've left her to it. SD had another feed to keep that soil moist, 1.5ml bloom, half teaspoon Epsom salts. On the weekly res change/feeding day I tend to give her a bit more like root stimulator, bio wetter and bio silicon and then on the days in between when she starts to look dry I give her a basic feed like today. I'll get those pics up as soon as possible :peace:

Hey guys, picture uploads are working again so got a few for y'all, hope you're all keeping well.

Stone Dragon
Still no colour yet, would it have shown by now if it was going to be a purple pheno? Usually my plants go slightly purple at the very end of flowering, just getting a bit on my BAM now and she is two weeks ahead of the dragons. She looks happy growth wise, she's stretched a decent amount considering her conditions and she is the most likely candidate for my next DWC grow

She had another feed today, 1.5ml bloom, quater teapsoon Epsom Salts and after reviewing the pics I'd say she's looking slightly hungry for some Nitrogen so may add a bit of veg nutes to the next feed.

Moon Stone
What can I say, she is becoming quite the beast even in her limited space..I think after this grow I will revert back to my old ways and grow one plant at a time and let her fill the tent if she needs to, I love that I have a variety of bud this time around but I feel like I'm restricting them , obviously when I can afford more lights and a bigger tent this won't be a problem
Her res is very consistent as of late and I'm going to try and up it for tomorrow's change, possibly with 1/4 strength boost also to start building her up for PK week. She was smelling very sweet again when I was tucking some leaves, almost lemony scent on that double bud! It's gonna be a tough call between SD and MS to find my favourite

Will be back tomorrow with another update for the weekly feed/res change.

:peace:

Nice update.
The girls are filling in nicely.
Why the leaf tucking and not defoliation?
I have always defoliated my photos two weeks before onset of flowering.
I guess autos would be different due to their short life cycle?
Leaving little time for regeneration?... Just guesses here.
Those look like they could use a thinning for sure.
Is that your normal growing style or are you letting them run Au Naturale' for this test?
Does anyone defoliate autos?
I usually do it 3 times for any photos.
They love it and grow back faster and stronger..

It's a topic open to debate buddy but you pretty much hit the nail on the head, the general consensus advises against defoliation of an auto due to limited time frame/life span. I've only been at hydro for a short amount of time and left them to do their thing size and shape wise and I haven't been disappointed yet, I prefer growing just one plant but if I do two DWC girls again they will get LST'd into rectangular shapes to fit in the tent side by side. The leaves tend to drop off when they're ready anyway, I only remove them if they require no encouragement to come away from the branch :peace:

hey bro plants are looking gorgeous, whats the temps in your tent? maybe if you try and drop it a few degrees the colours might show up. i think colder temps tend to bring out the colour
