Dragon Meds The Dragon Tests - Pal

Hey guys, it's Monday again so the start of a new week for us and my Dragons MS had a fresh res change consiting of the following:

25ml Calcium
25ml Magnesium
60ml Boost
15ml Aqua Flores A+B
EC 1.6
PH 5.9

Pretty simple res which I will top up with plain water over the week to let her rest after being pushed hard for PK week. she now has access to both GN units, angled in towards the main cola to increase light intensity for the remaining weeks. I gave her buds a little squeeze today as they don't look like they will expand as much as the BAM buds, but after feeling them I wouldn;t mind chopping her down today, all hairs are brown and the buds are rock solid already, the most dense buds I've grown to date..good job Stone! SD unfortunately still on the side lines, she was still moist after yesterday's feed so just left her to it today.

Dude, loving the look of the Moonstone, nice job. One question, you keep adding cal/mag, what signs tell you that she needs it. Give me an education bud

Hey man, you'll find that in any grow plants will need some sort of cal/mag supplement - even more so under LEDs. Common signs of deficiency as far as I know are rusty/dry patches and blemishes, usually starting at the tip of the leaf, spreading down the edges and eventually consuming the leaf. Sometimes you can get marks that people describe as "rust spots" but it's not always cal/mag that is the issue, can also be caused by lockout of other nutes due to incorrect PH for example. If you check some of the recent pics you may be able to see what I'm talking about, but for me it was down to having to wait for Cal/mag supplements so she told me off During this grow I ran out of my first cal/mag supplement and had to purchase new ones, that might explain why it keeps popping up in this thread, it's all experimental right now
If you head over to the sick plants and infirmary section there is a nice sticky thread with a list of common deficiencies and images to refer to, comes in super handy when trying to learn what each deficiency looks like.

You might not be pulling 300g (YET), but youv defo got skills. Iv read the likes of Seymour and Tang, its great too see what they can do, but your grows are more like Hydro/LED 101. Solid basics.

Glad you're getting some use out of my threads bro, being put in the same paragraph with the greats is nice - but I learned most of it from them I just write all the basic stuff out to help people of all levels follow what I'm up to, helps me to keep track of my progress too

Thanks man, very humbling.. I love design so just do it in my spare time but most of that logo is just shapes and an image from google of a snake trying to get some ideas down for Mr Stone so I can draw it up fresh! The finished product in the coming days/weeks will hopefully be more impressive! :Sharing One:

Just wanted to say thanks for all the kinds words, support and encouragement so far, it's a great privilege to attempt my very first test grow after only being in the "game" for a short while and I'm very grateful for both the opportunity and the company along the way
