Hehe, DWC is pretty intense but it's also a lot of fun if you enjoy spending a lot of time in the tent which I do, can't get enough of my girls..and yes you are correct, that's the MoonStone. I can't explain the anticipation I'm feeling waiting to sample these beauties

great job on the MS bro :thumbs: is that a touch of colour i see on the buds of SD? i gave mine around 10 days of plain water before i hit her with bloom nutes and she has gone completely black now lol how long do you reckon you will take MS? she looks close to chop

Yeah I saw your thread bro! Looks crazy nice This SD is fully organic so no need to flush (imo) but in spirit of letting her true colours shine I may give her a good water diet before chopping, just in case she wants to go black like yours..it really is something to look at. There are hints of purple/red around the tops of the buds which is nice so maybe this colour will develop during a flush also..I plan to keep on schedule in regards to harvesting which means MS has until monday in her current res set at a lower EC, come monday she will begin her flush/cleanse and I will do the same for SD. Will flush anywhere from 7-14 days depending on how I feel potentially she could be down in less than two weeks just gonna keep checking the trichs as best as I can

Well my guessed height of 59cm was pretty freaking close for the Moonstone, and 11 weeks of age at the cut.
Now we wait for the weights..
It seems as if I didn't guess on the Stone Dragon..only Moonstone. Bummer.

Good going man. How would you some up on the grow so far. Dont seem to have hit any nutrient problems, cal/mg and the such. How about dead roots falling off.

so far I would describe the experience as..enjoyable Obviously I could further this but that's generally speaking. There have been ups and downs as with most grows..the only time we had a nute issue is when I actually ran out of calmag for a few days, did her leaves a bit of damage due to lack of calcium and under 24/0 light this gets exacerbated.
As far as root issues go this grow has been a bit of an eye opener - I found that the full 30lpm was a bit too much for the early stages and I had a few breaking off - this also happened in my first dwc grow but it doesn't seem to affect them once they get established. In future grows I'll be using less power for the first week or so until roots are fully established for minimal damage. I think every DWC grower will see broken roots at some point, it happens often during a res change but nothing to stress about, as long as you're not ripping chunks from her root structure she will survive

Hey guys got some more pictures and a brief update. I've stopped feeding PK booster to SD now, she is currently receiving 1L feeds with 1ml Bloom and half teaspoon Epsom Salts, it's a lighter feed as although she is organic I'm going to flush her some to try and bring out some colour in the leaves. I think something similar is going to happen for MS also, since she has been on a lower EC for almost a week I've seen a lot more sugar leaves turning purple so hopefully that will develop even more during her flush too. Her EC is at 1.4 (1.8 total) and they both begin their flush/cleanse on Monday. Almost there chaps

Thanks a bunch for the hights Pal!:tiphat: I got a MS in a pot slightly taller than your SDs pot approx 8 Litres, should just fit in my 90cm tent.
