I understand your points bro. The PH and EC thing is a pain to start but after a couple of grows, you know what the EC will be, knowing when to boost or drop if if needed. The pots, you use Airpots, so say a 10L with a big enough plant for a 1L/per day, sometimes more, my White Nightamre for example likes less but more frequent. Do the lift test as soil, tbh I have noticed no more quicker drying out times like soil?

I am looking forward to trying some AN ph perfect coco formula when it's out here

Evening AFN, hope you're all keeping well. As you know by now my last Moonstone got scrapped and I've decided to do a nice laid back soil grow to fill the time. Here are the details so far:

Tent size: 1.2x1.2x2.0m
Soil: Plant Magic Plus Soil Supreme (I've only ever used Plagron Light in the past so this is new for me, the majority of my nute range is Plant Magic so I thought why not).
Nutes: Plant Magic Oldtimer Grow & Bloom, Plant Magic Bio Silicon, Plant Magic Root Stimulator, BAK Organic PK Booster, Epsom Salts - not a massive range of nutes, I may look into some organic bloom boosters (if anyone has a good recommendation let me hear it).
Lights: 2x GNMS0006 through veg, plans to add a 600w HPS for bloom.
Pots: 2x 15L AirPot, 1x 6-7L AirPot (this was originally a 15L but I chopped it down to roughly 6-7L for a small Stone Dragon on my last grow).

I will be running two MoonStones in the 15L pots and I'm taking a risk with the smaller pot, I'm germing a MishMash from S_a_H, I only say risk because it's a regular seed, not feminised as I'm used to. If it turns out to be male I'll just chop it down and focus on the MoonStones as I'm hoping to keep all plants roughly the same age. I will start a separate thread for the MishMash in the S_a_H section, purely to keep this thread Dragon oriented.

As of right now the seeds have been soaking in shot glasses for 5-6 hours so I'll check on them in the morning. The airpots have been filled with my new soil and the Root riot cubes have been..moistened (lol). I will update with a few pictures once they break ground, hopefully within the next few days.

Seeds went into Root riot cubes just now, they had all cracked with MishMash winning the race so far. Will post some pics when they break ground and go into their pots

Morning guys just another short update, I've transplanted the cubes into their final pots now as 2/3 were showing roots outside of the cube. MoonStone #1 is now winning the race with the longest tap root and the first to pop up/shed her seed casing. MishMash is now in second place with tap root showing but she hasn't popped up yet, and MoonStone #2 is nowhere to be seen yet! Once they're all above ground I'll add a couple pics I promise

Very true, I love how dense the buds were, like little rocks Definitely gonna have to purchase some once they're available cos I only have a few testers left and I'm not done with this strain yet
