Well, I can't speak for what is really going on at a company that I don't belong to/have close ties with, but what I can say is this, it's not the first time I hear this about declining quality with beans from them. Either stability issues and bigger pheno differences is something I've been hearing for quite some time and on several other fora as well. However, in general I personally still hold them in quite high regards.
What I also know is that when the things happened with Dinafem in Spain some years ago (owners were caught by the government, business closed, big law suit etc.) some (or most) of the Spanish producers changed tactics/size of grow ops or even went abroad (Colombia for example) to produce their weed/seeds. This might explain the change in seeds? Just thinking out loud here and what might sound logical, for a real answer I'm obviously not the right person to speak to.
Khalifa makes some strange/unique genetics indeed!
Do you have some pictures of them?
Cheers

... I get ya mate, just thought as a guy with his ear in the bizz and an eye on their "competition", you might have pick up a whiff of whatever is fouling Sweet's mojo... But your forum presence(s) does enlighten the situation nonetheless. Alas, it confirms the observations...

I cannot understand why, in these crazy competitive times (to say nothing of forums/social media), any company would allow or tolerate such a thing and shoot their own feet
As for Dinafem, my experiences predate their shut-down... It was back when that good man Mark was the rep' here, in the good ol' days!

...I dunno Antonio, it seems to me that a certain level of complacency becomes the norm', whether it's because a company has become lazy, careless or just plain indifferent,...being dismissive of such feedback, chalking it up to "grower error", which to be fair, is the case sometimes, but
not always... It makes me question just how well they are testing and quality checking new batches, especially their older popular cultivars which should be well dialed in,

S!
Khalifa is definitely interesting, and I love a breeder that zag's when most everybody else is zigging along with the same redundant pop culture stuff! Truth be told, the majority of cultivars I've grown these last several years has been from private breeders and small companies... And there are so so many breeders out there these days, how can one ever grasp the scale of such an ocean

... much less keep tabs on the diversity.
My grow situation and restrictions are pretty challenging, especially OD's. I need speed, mold resistance and a full range of effects, all with about 7-9 plants each season. So, picking "winners" is no small challenge!
