Live Stoner Chat This might be a stupid question, but....

Just wondering what the consensus is on when to harvest? Somewhere I read that the amber color is a sign it is beginning to dry out and that you should harvest when most of the trichomes are cloudy. What do you guys say?
It varies to what kind of high you want. Cloudy trichomes will generally give you a good daytime high and the more amber the trichomes, the more couch lock high you get. When they began to amber, the thc-a is deteriorating and turning into cbn which, (when smoked), is more of a narcotic stone! :baked:

Hey now.
Here's what you don't want to hear, It's up to you!!
With time and experience you will be able to tell when to harvest as you want the result to be.
As a rule of thumb the more towards amber the trichomes get the more sedative the effect. The trichomes start out clear work their way to cloudy and then go amber. My preference is mostly to all cloudy with some amber trichomes. I am not a fan of immature canna, it's too racy for me. My step son loves it though.
I use a little 30/60 magnifier with the led illumination and that allows me to see what I need to determine where they are. I use the breeders advertised time to flower as a guideline and judge the trichomes from there.
Peace.
