I got 4 different strains right now flowering under a 1K HPS and 3 out of the 4 have some serious trichomes all over, even covering the leafs, but on my Purple Wreck, I barley have any trichs. So are trichomes based more off of the strain, and not the growing conditions? Like some strains just make more than others? Just doesn't make sense to me that all the others are super christaly. The PurpleWreck has actually finally turned purple, so that's a plus! Been dropping the temps heavy at night lately. 77F-78F during day, and 62F-63F with lights off.

Yes,strains differ in trychome production.How old is your purple wreck?
PurpleWreck just got fed @ week #8 flower, and from what I can see all trichs are still mostly clear, some cloudy, no amber. Earlier on in flowering there were some heat issues, but that has been dealt with weeks ago, so the PurpleWreck has some foxtails.
PurpleWreck - (Day 112 / Day 73 Flower) (All the buds and leafs are actually purple, the HPS is just killing the quality of the photo's. I'll take some pics tonight with the lights off so yall can see how purple it really is.
