TSW2000 stopped working 30 days

I was able to get warranty for my mars light but it wasn't the best experience. It was a long difficult process that I had to really prove and fight for. It helped that I'm a electronics tech and was able to prove beyond a doubt what the problem was. They sent me a replacement part (cob) but I had to pay the shipping from China. You may want to get some video prepped and pics.

Just give them a bit of time to respond , AFN has been good for them and over the years and I have seen the growth AFN has generated for them .
Now is the time for them to respond and replace at no cost . So lets see what happens . Word of mouth means a hell of a lot here .

I would say maybe sometimes..... This is just speculation from my own personal experience working in electronics manufacturing. But I would be willing to bet that they built the Mars cobs in house and that's why they had parts for me. Their newer stuff with multiple diodes they probably source out to a board builder like samsung or something local to stuff their pcb's. Mars likely just attach a driver to it, test and package. So they may not actually have some of the parts/diodes on hand. It's possible they have their own SMT but it's probably cheaper to just have it done.

You cant believe my disappointment when i found my girls in the dark.....
I bought this product based on all the good things i heard.... we shall see how good of a company they really are. It is a faulty driver, I plugged board into my tsw1000 driver and it works powered half of the tsw2000

Here is the response I recieved from Mars Hydro

Amazon did not manufacture the light. I think its time Mars Hydro stands for thier product. This must be why they are so cheap. Sorry for the rant folks I am just mad that I made the decision to go with Mars Hydro after spending weeks researching light costs. Its funny that I didnt see all the one star reviews. Still though $300 isnt just pennies.

let me go try and deal with amazon and get a new light

It's perfectly normal to go to the point of purchase for warranty issues and not directly to the manufacturer, that's why I always buy directly from the manufacturer if possible/feasible
