Having recently downsized flat to a 1 bed, I have had to resort to buying a 750mm x 750mm grow tent for the first time.
The only space I have to position the tent is at the foot of my bed. My extraction system (4'') is too noisy and I have no alternative but to rely on a 6'' clip fan to push the air around and to push heat out thro the top level holes.
So far things are going great. Humidity is 40/50 and the temp is a constant 27c (day) & 20c (night). I am on a 20/4 cycle
My problem is that when I put my 300W reflector in there, it is hampering me from dropping down a secondary vertical lamp (125w) as I can't get near the centre of the grow.

I have come up with a solution and I would like to share it with you and get some feedback.

In order to add my vertical lamp, I have made a wooden stool which sits inside the tent floor at 6'' high and I have bought an e27 batten fixture

and added an e27 to e40 adaptor

I have screwed the fixture to the top of the stool and ran a 2'' piece of wood from the centrally placed stool to the edge of the base tray, with the cable on the underside & inside some conduit ( well protected from any water spillage).

This allows me to have my secondary light hanging vertically from the bottom up.

I have not tested in as yet but I would appreciate any comments /suggestions .
