New Grower Waira's 11-strain-in-the-membrane outdoor grow

Hey waira, you posted this in a previous post.
anyone looking pale-ish gets a foliar shot of Iron supp'

What do you use for your foliar iron supplement?

I gave mine their first foliar feeding yesterday with some organic tea veg mix.

Was being very conservative with my mix, helped some but I would definitely like to see some deeper green on my leaves.

:peace:

foliar 1/2 strength spray of GreenAll chelated Fe/Mn/Zn/Cu + 2-0-0 N, plus some in soil as well; treated w/spray 2 times over several days, problem corrected...
LOL! This is what stoned lazy f*ck crap typists do- pirate shit you've already typed elsewhere! :joint: :roflcry: Now to go with this fabulous product (4 metals in 1, + N!), you'll need a water spreader (wetting agent), something that will make the soln. cover and sheet over the leaf surface instead of beading up (max. surface area= max. absorption).....This might be a bit tough to find, and/or expensive if from the typical horti' shop fancy brand (poke around online, I forget the brand/product name), unless.... Romeo (as in the fertilizer co.) makes a product we use at the nursery that is absolutely tits! Clear, soapy-gelatin-y consistency, no real odor, harmless so far as I've seen... my litmus test for product gentleness is if it doesn't fry some of the wispy cloud forest type orchids, it's all good! Ag' supply places may have it, or order direct from them (romeopacking.com- call them and ask about it), I think 1gal was $20-ish, and goes a long way, useable with pretty much anything you spray, plus excellent soil penetration aid! ... GreenAll is the shizzle, mate! It smells like a 55gal drum of rusty nails, it's so metal-rich,..... :lick: LOL! 2-3 shots over 7-10 days should see nice improvement... Oh yeah, sprayers, a large gardeners best friend! I got a real nice 1.5gal unit made by Round-Up, (of all co.'s!), with a 5 year warranty (!), from Home Despot, about $25; a great smaller unit 1L Solo model 418, excellent design, (look online for a retailer, or order direct,... I got mine as a gift! :shrug: LOL! ) **** I'm trying a new death product, Spinosad ( a neurotoxin derived from a bacteria), ... more on that later Stick', I'm all done for tonight.... 'night,...

<week 7+>
Bud building is coming along nicely for all, and better still, trichome development is well under way on several of the girls; aromatics are becoming stronger overall, and some, like the RD's, are getting distinct,.. the smaller, leaner one is without a doubt going to be the first to finish! Her aroma right now is a sweet, floral, mildly cheesey,...; PK isn't too far behind in maturity, and is spicy+floral; BL's will be the last out of the pool,.. can't wait to see how they fill out!...;

Fert' regime remains the same for another round or two, then I'll up the conc. to 1/2 strength; Bugs aren't too bad, random aphids mostly, easily dispatched...but there have been more thrips around than usual, never more than 1-2 spotted at a time, but they've left their marks! :cuss: So, to quell the little shits, I'm trying out a Spinosad product, and I like what I'm seeing... this stuff is made from some obscure bacterium that produces this compound, and acts as a neurotoxin, in a satisfyingly harsh manner- it causes overstimulation of their central nervous sytem--> :cough:-> :yoinks:-> :poof: LMAO!! :finger: bugs, :pimpmyride:!! :pimp:don't you come back he-yaah, boiii.... zero impact on the plant, nonreactive baby!

The ladies are coming right along! :D:thumbs: That PK is really P, isn't she!! :drool: I'm not sure I've seen leaves quite *that* purple before... I have a prediction - in a week those buds are going to be a LOT phatter! :smoke:

GRRR - so topical for me and the girls... Those freaking little jumping butt nuggets are proving persistent. :cuss: Azamax definitely prevented an all out infestation, those babies were everywhere - but EVERY MORNING I still manually kill several on the leaves of each plant, and they are larger everyday... Yes, I smash them between my fingers and hiss "HA you little f*cker!" :finger: So far it has not intimidated the rest of them to leave.

Enter your review of Spinosad - I'm all over it! Sounds safe for us and the plant, and horrible for the BUGZ!! :twist: << that is a GREAT emoticon! LOL

M'kay, well the ladies are looking nice and happy, and I'm out to get some Spinosad containing insecticide!! So glad you mentioned it.

:smokebuds:

023.jpg022.jpg<--* say bye-d-bye to these leafy butt plug UV's, they're not worth the mb's wasted for pics anymore; I'll let them finish, probably have to turn them into hash... more sucky! I had high hopes for this strain, and they were either just plain intolerant (easy to grow, my bollocks!), or I got shitty pheno's, maybe both..*

{WEEK 8-ish}
:toke: The gals are progressing nicely, buds be fillin' out,...! trich' development looks great, with aromatics becoming more and more distinct for each (I upped the resolution for the pics now :brow:), so I hope the quality follows,...Except for the B Lee's, it sure as shit isn't gonna be yield. I'm not usually one to beam sunshine up peoples' vent ducts, including myself; that said, for some of these plants, their net probably won't even cover their seed+material costs, and that is pathetic! Starting out, my expectations for size/yield were modest, really, given the hiccups that were surely coming on a first grow...But I gotta say some of these results have my ass feeling uneasy,.. (LOL!) The MI5's, RRF's, UV's, HBD's(male; seed micro-runt) and PK's (runty-leafy; seed micro-runt) are all on the "A' list for the WTF Awards...(Pics are deceiving- many of them are 1' or less)... The rest are merely okay to nearly WTF, (B. Lee's aside)... :shrug: whaddya gonna do, ay? ..... Several are now starting to shut down some of the older sun leaves, so my guess is in a couple-few weeks most of this shorty-show will be done... only the BLee's look to be finishing around 12 weeks, which is expected from this strain...
* RD petite pheno, while silly small, is very cool in it's scaled down bonsai-like build, and the aroma of the budlettes is fantastic! Note the strange surface texture of the leaves, which are also flat like they were pressed; pistils are nearly absent,...I like it! The Hercules is much the same way; I can tell it wants to go pine-tree in build, and a large one would probably be an excellent yielder,... we'll see how it fills out...
:joint: Sooo, what am I gonna do? I gonna try again, real soon like, with HighRise uber gear!! :dance2: I've decided to steer away from Seed, Inc., and am fired up on having a go with what is uncontestably some of the finest genetics out there in Cres-san's good works! Plus, I still have 2 Crm. Mandarins and 1 Crm. Caramel to run as well,... once again it will be a multi-flavor grow, just fewer varieties... The season is as prime as it gets too; early fall is our best weather here, and during vegging I'll have the Max-sunlight hours as well,.. just hope the fog isn't too bad this summer! ... :D Seeds are ordered, and a new plan is brewing....:D

Doob-age! :D Thanks for the fly-by! Looks like I was adding some more griping while you were writing- :face: LOL!-
whats up with the cobra? You liking that one looked crazy!
--- LOL! ?? not following you here, mate,... don't tell me you drank the whole bottle of tincture! :joint: :D The one Cobra isn't the worst of the runts, mate, check that MI5,...and that's the big one! The other is a ridiculous 5" micro-turd, one of the late germ's... In fact, the other HBD is still alive too, as a 4" novelty, and the other PK is a mutant 5" stick... both late germ's too... is it me, or do you find this trend in you seeds as well? ***** I'm due to check in at your place Doob', I know you've been a rather busy guy, dialing in the new facilities, and you have some juicy juicy Buddha gals I need to oogle at for a few,..:drool:.... Thanks for the rep' Buddha bruddha! (oh yeah, Cobra is a Flash (Stitch) strain)

Sorry to hear about the UV'S Waira. I think it has to be shitty phenos because mine look completely different. But don't feel bad...my NL looks like shit right now. I think she has a number of deficiencies that I don't have the $$$ to go buy stuff to correct the issue. I give you props because most of your girls started producing buds before mine, and you started yours two weeks after I did.

I tell you what i think..well..I have done 2 runs and have used like 4 or 5 different soil mixes..I see you are having weird stunting issues ..I noticed that when i mixed the soil right with added amendment they grew perfect,but if it was like FFHF or FFOF or a mix they didnt do nearly as well.Just watering it with molasses and phed water for 35-40 days makes a world of difference.I didnt even need to give nutes till i wanted to push bloom.I have the new Blood dragons in the FFOF and other ak-49 and devon maid in FFOF/coco only because i added some good stuff to my soil cook so it wasnt ready and i can see how much slower they are growing.:2cents:
