Live Stoner Chat Watering Device/Spike Device?

Hey Guys.got a bit of an off the wall question.I was thinking about using these(or something similar even, that Ive seen)as an Organic spike tool such as a thin mellow slurry if you will.just a heavy tea type thing really planted into the pot previous upon filling your pot(s)..? has anyone used these as advertised like a watering device?and was it effective at atleast watering it slowly?average soil,pot all that jazz.Thanks guys.juuust curious."AFN smoke out""AFN smoke out"

I've seen others try those and they have never caught on. I think the problem is that they keep the soil too wet and interrupt the wet/dry cycle that our plants want and need. Plus you don't get run off with those and we know that the run off is important to prevent salt build up in the soil. But they might be useful if you were planning on going away for awhile and wanted to make sure your pots don't dry out while gone.

I've used 22 oz beer bottles turned over and jammed into my Tomato plants dirt. Worked really well. This was in a hot greenhouse that dried soil out quickly.
