its tough to get the exact wattage but the meanwell hlg120h-c1050 or c1400 should buy you very close to 50w each cob. They are smaller cobs and I usually see people running them a little softer than 50w

I'm complete dummy about it.. I got DIY light with two halfbroken 2540 working on 11w. each,so i wanna replace them with new ones.. i think i will be able to do that ..

you won't be able to power a 2540 @ 50w on that heatsink bro, plus at 50w the 2540 has shit efficiency

to drive each cob at 25w take, one per cob

to run each at 30w take this driver, it runs both in parallel and is dimmable

or the cheaper and open version

after that the price goes up so you should then look at ELG-C series (150w dimmable)

how about china? (this is what i recommended to you earlier)

30 w, one per cob
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1734700

20w version
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1612/10008212/1734701

and also you may as well get the cob here too

can i put citizen or 3590 cob then?? instead of 2540?? You know what light I'm talking about, can i connect all of these cobs on one driver?? to run them all on 50w??

that is the other option, you can run the whole thing off 1 driver.

I recommend you take an ELG 150

http://au.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Mean-Well/ELG-150-C1050A/?qs=/ha2pyFaduh8HCqAgoHdLFZ6tqTdpZCtMbM1zPTEXf8XnGVvs8J7jQ==

and connect 4 cobs(the 2 on the pc heatsink and the 2 new ones) 36w per cob

and use the CXB3070 or vero 29 or citizen CLU048 1818 that you find cheaply

or you can take the HLG 185

http://au.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Mean-Well/HLG-185H-C1400A/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMt5PRBMPTWcafxiK6L3g9qC4ixngzGK2XQ=

and run each cob at 50w but you will need to add a fan to those heatsinks

the 4000k in the middle just leave it

OR you can take off the 4000k and use it as a veg light?

or you can move the 2450 that are not broken onto the star heatsinks, then you can put the new cobs on the pc fan heatsinks and run them up to 75w(this is probably your best option but the most work)

again if i were you i would just leave that light as it is, if you want some practice building lights take the 2530 from fast tech and learn to wire up cobs, this will give you an idea of the work involved and if you even wanna spend money on more expensive equipment.

sorry i haven't been on my email much lately, but its better to talk about this stuff in the forums

peace

I would like to have all 4 cobss as full working, i dont need 4k light cos i have photon 6 as main led, but it would be nice that all 4 cobs working at full power (50w ) so that i have killer led (I think it will be) in my 1m2 tent and just one power cord.. i will buy neccesery cobs and driver to do that, and i got one or two eletricians buddies who will know how to assembley that..

ok good luck with that, then u take the HLg 185

electricians know very little about LEDs in my experience, it's more of an engineering thing

Then I'm screwed.. Can i expect from him at least to connect all of that on one power cord? I mean current setup if i dont touch nothing, just to connect all on one power cord? can it be done?
