This is the 4th seedling I have lost to this. Finally got a picture of whatever it may be this morning.

Using Coco/perlite 70/30%
Ph’d tap to 5.7-5.9 range
Haven’t been using any nutrients. Using solo cup tier method.

Seedling is 6 days old. Here is a pic at 7:00 this morning. I sprinkled the top with dry coco and continued with light schedule. Has been domed since it popped.

That is a fungus and your soil looks very wet. White fuzzy mold is not what's killing them, it's the wet soil causing them to damp off. The leaves of sprouts need some humidity, but the roots need much less moisture the first week
This was my thought too.

Your PH needs to come up some, since you are using tap water I would suggest leaving the water sit open for up to 48 hours letting chlorine evaporate.

Too much wet, like the others say. Fix that and make sure you have a fan moving the air, but not blowing right on them.

I already let it set in an open container with an air stone to evaporate chlorine. I am using coco and I’m almost certain that my ph is in the acceptable range for this type of soil. However if I’m wrong, please advise otherwise.

I was super confused on the wet coco considering this had only been watered in, covered with a plastic dome and left alone (or so I thought).

When I germinate seeds an I got a high success rate I use a seedling mat an water once every three days I put directly into soil I don't use a paper towel or anything an this method works great I put into very small container with soil once above ground I transplant to a bigger pot .

:toke: What's the T and RH% in there mate? "damping off" is a fungal issue, more than one kind does it as well,... consider getting pure neem oil and/or a specialized bacterial inoculant (Armory or Actinovate for example) that attacks these pathogens,... I know it's a pain to balance getting the RH% and T right, air movement, and moisture levels in the medium; usually the ten conditions are close enough though,.... seedlings do want nice even constant moisture, higher RH%, gentle air movement... I make sure the soil/medium is nicely moist at all times, but use a mister to rewet the surface level without putting too much extra in,...
