As i wrote in the title i wonder what i can expect from an auto strain under a 12/12 light cycle?

I, myself think that it will result in a lesser yield, and an all over less then it would with a 18/6 cycle. Is that right?

I am only making seeds, and i ofcourse want the best quality of the seeds. So maybe 12/12 would be bad then.

I appreciate all help i can get. :) Peace guys. :)

You can grow Autos under 12/12 some strains thrive best under less hours of light but yes yeild will be much smaller :smokebuds:

Ok, thanx for taking your time to answer me, mate. :) I had another idea that you maybe could help me out with straighten out some question marks 4 me?

I have heard from a guy that seems to know his way with this stuff, that a pretty large procentage (larger then i ever thought it would be) of regular indoor photo strains will flower under 15/9. And the photos i got are early outdoor strains from High Rise seeds, and one of em have started to show sex, under 20/4 light. The ones i have now, and grown earlier. Some of them are almost autoflowering. The two HR strains are (SK#1 x Eearly Pearl crossed then with Auto GG.

My question is, can i maybe try to switch it to 15/9 and see, or is it any harm in that?
And, if an early photo is showing sex, is it going to keep flower? Or is there some way to keep her in veg phase?
And, a third. :) Can i take a cut now when she is flowering?

Peace boys! :)

A lot of sativa strains grow better under 14/10 lighting so 15/9 might be possible depending on the strain.

Yeah, i got a 8 different strains, and three of them are different autoflowering strains that´s ready in about 2-4 weeks.
The other strains are very light sensitive strains mostly from High Rise seeds. I transplanted one of them yesterday, and i will transplant the other three in these next days coming.
I am planning on vegging for two more weeks, with the 20/4 schedule i use now. And when the autos are two weeks from harvest i will switch to 15/9 for one week before i turn to down 12/12. I hope that the most of the photos will respond to the first two weeks. And if they don´t, they will respond to 12/12 for sure i think.

Have a great day everybody!
