I'm wondering if anyone out there can educate me about regular auto-flower seeds. Stone dragon has just been released and I want to order some in November. I'm thinking of growing about 100 outdoors and I was going to plant from seed outside on a make shift bench so they are above the critters. But I'm wondering at what stage do I have to pay close attention to the gender of the plants. When does a person start ripping out the males? Could anyone tell me? Thanks in advance.

I would say that this is strain and conditions dependant, ive for the most part have been able to sex the plants anywhere between 20-45 days. So.e take alil longer and ive had some take as little as 14 days to definitively show sex. I personally have never grown dragons( yet atleast) im sure that sombody who has will be along shortly to better answer your question.

Thanks Skrewg314. Nice artwork! So you basically have to keep watching the plants for the first half of it's life span. That's a start. Cheers! :-)

Thanks Yoda buds! You rock! I did look at that page and then the link to the information but there wasn't anything there about autos though I found the stuff about using the phases of the moon to be interesting but quite complex. I'm after an education on when I need to start watching these autos to determine their sex. I'm interested in the female seed auto's that highrise has for sale as well as the regular seed stone dragons. They look nice and I am tempted. I may end up just going with the female seeds though if I don't feel confident about determining the males from the female autos.
