As the title says..... when do you start your flush? I know everyone will have a different opinion on this but interested in seeing them.

Currently on about Day 74 of an Auto Glueberry OG grow and the estimated time to harvest as per Dutch Passion is around Day 77. I haven’t started to flush yet and still not sure when to to be honest.

Pistils are currently around about 30\40% orange and trichomes are probably about 50% cloudy and 50% clear.

Already posted a thread in this section about when do you harvest.

If I haven't run a strain before, I begin flush st their recommended cut date and plan for 14 days... anything after 5 I'm good with... next run I know for sure...

Last run of cdlc went 76 days then 14 flush cut at 90... but that is also with my setup and conditions.

With no picks, I'd recommend going full throttle for another three days and start flushing...then keep lookin...

Also your medium will affect flush time. Soil longest... coco shorter..

Generally I flush just before I am done peeing, Oh, you weren't talking about that type of flush. I'd say the flushing basics are two weeks if in soil, one week if soilless. At the end of my runs, I feed the ladies organic Blackstrap molasses.

I don't flush.
or in a way, you could say I flush the entire grow, since I rarely use liquid nutes in the water, I have my nutrients dug into the soil before the grow, and then feed straight water the entire season.
with my way of growing flushing is impossibly anyway(since soil-amendments keep breaking down and releasing nutrients), but in general I'm also skeptical of it. however I do think it's important to not overfeed, but I think it's better to just give the right amount of nutrients the entire grow, let the plant tell me if it needs anything, not feeding if it looks fine and not purposely starving it(although I don't fret some yellow leaves late in flower, pretty normal a plant sacrifices it's leaves instead of taking from the soil at the very end of flower)

Haha!!!

I’m growing in Coco. Is Mollasses like sugars? For my flush I use good old H2O Canna Boost which is sugars apparently and a touch of Cannazyme. This is something I know Vader does. A grower I follow on YouTube.

Bit info on their mate didn’t actually realise that growing in coco you only need a week flush or even a few days.

That link pretty much same info from different source, learn more every day with growing a lot to remember like.

Nice one @Tankat ill have a read up of them mate. Cheers. Yeah loads of info to take in and remember. Really trying to get everything right this grow. Also I’m new to Autos too. That’s my excuse anyway! ‍♂️

Environmental conditions plays a role in this decision. If it is cooler then ripening is slower. If it is warmer it will be faster. If it is hot it will be really fast. I personally like about 20% amber trichomes when I harvest. I grow hydro and harvest the whole plant at once. (Staggered harvesting may be better in other systems.) So all I need is a 3 day flush if you are in soil you need a week. So here is how it plays out for me.

Cool = 10% to 15% amber.
Warm = 8% to 10% amber.
Hot = 5% amber.

Using this general guide I am pretty close to 20% amber 3 days after starting the flush.

there is a long thread about what is a flush......

when i see an amber i swap the next 2 feeds for just water,then starve it for 3 days and chop.
