Mephisto Genetics White lines.. Some problems?

Well, I soaked my last 3 Walters:help::sadcry: and all 3 showed tap roots.. So to soil we go... I'm going to miss these last 3 Walter girls of mine!!. So let's go all out, see how bad I can abuse them to push some great, huge, dense, buds:naughtystep:... Btw, these are some older stock, around 10 months ago a stork dropped them off... Never had an issues with this stock:shrug:..

Hey man, we're still working with the same stock, it hasn't been re-produced since the first run.

We put 65 in to germ and 48 hours later we had 64/65 with decent sized taps

40 were potted, hopefully they'll all be above ground very soon.

Cheers

I just germed 6 different Mephisto strains, every single seed is growing, and the Walter White was the first to crack, and the first to drop husk. There was a slight deformity on one of the first leaves, because the cotyledon never unfolded properly.

It didn't slow it down any however, and has worked itself out on that leaf. Now a leaf on the next set appears slightly morphed / mutated.
I dunno  it seems healthy enough to me .

5 Days Old

Well I think I can safely say that the last seedling is a mutant, it showed it's head on the 20th September and is 3 weeks old today and still the size of a 5 day old plant.
I'll be pulling it as I will need the pot for the new seeds going into the tent this week.
The older mutant was 8 weeks last Wednesday, she's put on a bit of growth this past couple of weeks but is growing crooked, she changes direction at each node, she's flowering well now so I'll keep her even though I'm not expecting a huge harvest.
You can see in a couple of the pics where she's put out 4 branches per node on the lower 2 nodes.
It's been interesting to watch her fight to live.

@mephisto - I really love the fact that this is serious to you, because your right, it should be. Like you said there are folks that order just a few beans and don't have much cash who are hoping and praying for trouble free seeds! If something is wrong, I hope you find it. This is a great way to sort it out IMO.

Some breeders farm their work out to every pulse with a grow tent, and wouldn't even know where to begin looking....

On a side note, if your company ever starts selling shares please let me know. Your conduct, demeanor, and work are impeccable, and I suspect your growing allegiance of supporters will remain dedicated customers for life. If I can get in on that, and maybe some patented @Grey Bear "Grow Gravy", I might be able to live and die a rich man..... :muahaha:

Day 16 update on the 26'ers....well, the 18'ners by now......! the plant in pot D I had given up on made a comeback, so she is back in contention, thus 18 out of 26 as of now.

Some are bigger that others as one would expect, and they all seem to have settled down to get on with the normal tedious rigmarole of growing

Pot A.....2 healthy survivors

Pot B.......all 4 planted behaving in a businesslike manner

Pot C.......4 out of 7 is on the move

Pot D.......1 out of 4 is still marching on, this one looked stunted and weakly to begin with, but she has picked up her game, although still small compared....in case there is any archaeologists reading this, they 3 brownish blobs at 2, 4 and 8 o'clock are prime excavation sites.......

Pot E.......4 out of 4 is enjoying the Tabernacle habitat

Pot F........forgot to take a pic, but on my word, the 3 maidens still hanging out there is digging it.....slowly but surely!
