DIY Wiring 3 pin plug to bathroom extractor fan

Can some one explain how I can connect a UK 3 pin plug to a bathroom extractor fan not sure what I'm doing

What kind of wire to I use should I use a old phone charger or a cable and plug from a old table lamp what Kind of fuse should I use any help appreciated soon as I get this sorted I can start my grow

Some 1mm flex will do the trick

Connect brown in the mains L
Blue in mains N
Yellow & green - cut out at fan end as the fan is double insulated and doesn't need an earth.

Wire plug as normal - 3 or 5 amp fuse will do
