New Grower WoS: Afkan Kush Ryder auto fem

Welcome to the fun CaptainPeck, the one I called tiny dancer is about two weeks old and the others are about a week older. The big girl on the left is 12in, short and fat is almost 8in and tiny dancer is 6in. I will move the young plant up front and "short stuff" to the rear under the 135w ufo today when I feed. The 10000k t5s were replaced with 6500k bulbs yesterday. My new fan/filter combo is here an when I get two new 6in clip-on circulating fans I will move all the girls to the new tent. Radfier420 appears to be right and two will be tall girls. Oh, by the way Capt you should check out Ronins' AKR grow and growdadys' is just plain awesome. Good luck and good karma.

View attachment 289611Just got my fan speed controler and I would like to know if anyone has used this companys' fans. I go through at least one fan per grow, it seems, and would like to find a 6in in-line duct booster fan, 150-350 cfm. Any recomendations? Tent is 56 cu.ft.

Pic two is the tall girl (left) at 14in, about what I had hoped for at 4 weeks. Lights are at 18in in pic three and the small girl (right) is catching up, almost 8in (one week younger than the rest). Everyone got 10ml/gal grow big and tiger bloom with 1/4 cap full of super thrive, 2000ml each. I will order the two cheap clip-on circulating fans for my new tent this week and make the switch this weekend.

Have all the girls in the new tent (last pic) but as you can see (center pic) I really need another bs240uv. Fed the two oldest 10ml/gal 2000ml each of sensi cal/mag grow at 6.1ph, the youngest was still too wet. I want to take the soil down from the mid/high ph (6.5+) to low 6.1 and back up to 6.5 over the next two weeks, anything to get another 10in of vertical growth before bloom. Lights are still at 18in but now I will rotate the plants to even out the lighting. Tallest plant is just over 15in.

:tiphat:Great stuff mate, I love how you've got the girls in some 5gallons too, bold move and they love it:thumbs:

View attachment 291847View attachment 291846View attachment 291844Things seem to be going my way, better growth and more even hights. Gave the young girl (right) 10ml/gal FF grow big and tiger bloom 2000ml, she is growing fastest now. I am not going to tie them down, just spread them a little, bud sites look good (center pic) and they appear to be developing well. The oldest, left, is just at 17in and I have raised my lights to 21-22in (UFO135-BS240). Last year when winter came I had to run the lights 24/0, now with a speed controler my temps are good during lights on. I think I will put the circulating fan on the timer also to keep up tent temps at night, currently they drop to 65f (20/4 schedule). When I grew this plant the first time it was one out of five and I didn't pay much attention, I am now. I like this plant. So far it has been a pleasure to grow, meets my standard of easy and comfortable.

The two girls that are almost 5 weeks got 10ml FF grow big and tiger bloom per gal 2000ml each @ 6.2ph. Next watering/feeding all three should be on the same schedule, every 3/4 days. I will give a quick flush sometime during week six (or when growth stops) and make the switch to bloom nutes and change the t5s' from 6500k to 3000k bloom.

AKR week5a.jpgView attachment 292656View attachment 292654Week 5 and the girls are just getting thirsty, another 1500ml each, plain water 6.3ph. I will give them a proper watering thursday with 10ml/gal sensi cal-mag grow and enough to get a good runoff and real soil ph. I seem to be having trouble keeping my checker ph meter calibrated, maybe the battery. I am hoping for a growth spurt this week, I am still looking for 30in plants, but we will see.

Really starting to all come together now, very nice work so far Virginia!:gthumb:
