Hi guys my names Greg, I'm a first time autoflower grower and wanted to see some expert opinions on what these yellow dots could be and if somebody could give me a rough estimate of when I should start flushing. I'm on week 7 today and the strain is critical cheese. Here's some pics:

Would greatly appreciate the help! :help:

best way to tell is by your trichs bro i like to start flushing once i see some amber or because of autos some dont amber i like to flush when i can barely see any clear trichs.

those plants don't look to healthy the stems are all yellow and not much 'fullness' to the stalk's better check ph-tds before it's too late ..it usually takes me about 12-14 weeks before I harvest!

what's happens if it's a cross breed between a strain that doesn't amber, and one that does? (never had a plant that didn't amber)

My last couple of grows didnt amber, not even a little. Some times you get some that do some times you don't. My general rule of thumb is when almost all the hairs change from clear to what ever color they change to and dang near all the trichs go from clear to milky. At around that time your leafs should start to yellow because the buds are pulling all the nuets from them in a push to finish. Again this is MY rule of thumb and doesn't make it the absolutely right way or the only way, but it works for me. :2cents: Grow karma sent your way, good luck!

Those spots look like the start of a cal/mag deficiency. Not uncommon with autos, especially around weeks 5-7. Judging from your pictures you have at least another 3-4 weeks before harvest. If you switched to bloom nutes early, around week 4, then I would expect them to go around 10 weeks. If you waited until vertical growth stopped, usually around week 5-6, then they will likely go 11-12 weeks.

Not all autos will show amber, so it's not a reliable method to tell when to harvest. Here are a couple threads which should help you understand what to expect from your plants and an alternate method of knowing when to harvest.
