Hiya All
Was going to wait to post but just am too excited not to share... I got a lighthouse hydro 3x1.75x5' tent, a 240w blackstar and a booster fan for exhaust. Inside I will have 3 or 4 Russian Dragons. This project is going to be all about letting them do there thing... I'm hoping for at least 1 male and 1 female... Soaked two seeds last night in some RO water, put them in 2.4g airpots, than today I just put into soak two dragons in RO and tomorrow will one in the 2.4 airpot and for shits and giggles will put other one in a 2gal smart pot. Using a OF/LW mix, and entire line up of nutes. Will update as progress is made... Introducing the LOVE SHACK!

Here is my sad sad sad dragon catching story. I tried to pop 4 beans at first, roughly the beginning of the month... Only ONE single bean popped but they had their shell stuck to them...I gently removed it and left it alone for a bout a week, still all it looked like was a white blob on a stick... It looked as if it was almost encased in something, I gave ot a squeeze and all of a sudden ot popped open... I think was the inside on shell stuck on it... So here is the first survivor my first dragon:

Poor thing is two weeks old and look how small it is... It a strong one I tell ya! It's been through ALOT.
I than Germed a BUNCH more and nothing was going! I tried every germinating method you could think of.. No bait! I than started digging around the soil to find most of them did germ but they all had their shell stuck on and couldn't push through:..none made it:.. They were Doa. I than did the rest of beans... All of them same thing... I meeed up ALOT of them trying to get the shell off... One I did struggle with also survived an they are bout 4 days old:

I have three more hopefuls I popped yesterday into soil... Crossing fingers I get one to go! So I have two dragons for sure and two that are in critical condition.

The saga shall continue...
I will be a dragon tammer ONE DAY... It's going to be a lot of hard work, but I'm willing to put the time in effort into it!

So sorry for the bad luck dude. You'll get the hang of it! Been there. Hell I am dealing with funny germ rates right now on some older beans. Annoying.

A little dragon tale update... The original survivor of the first batch of popped beans, a very rough start indeed! Though they still live to tell... I think this maybe the smallest dragon, with its abuse and all... Looks like its doing some kinda sexing but can't tell if the top is one signal male flower or if it's pistills.

Allrighty! This dragon run isn't turning out as bad as I thought! I got two males shooting pollen out in a closet with no fan(though closet is in with rm that has grow tents... I also am trying to reverse an Easy Ryder in the same closet... Now just waiting to pollenate my dragon girls... For haha's today I tried with a q tip and tried to pollenate lower branches of my other easy Ryder... So now it looks like I'll have a Russian Dragon x Easy Ryder seeds... Should be interesting cross...

I also have a 270w chrome and as you can see maybe on the easy Ryder it's bleaching it, some plants love it some don't, they ALL LOVE the 240w blackstar though... Wonder what the different dragons are... Need to do a search see if I can find some Russian Dragon smoke reports.... Just want it to be good for my Multiple Sclerosis.
