First Time Indoor Auto Grow

Hello fellow friends,

I am a new grower looking for some insight on my plant and my grow tent setup. It's coming to the third week since it sprouted and I believe it is not growing as fast as it should. My setup is:
- 60x60x160 cm tent
- soil is a mix of coco and perlite (pH 6.8)
- seed strain Moby Dick
- light is a 150W LED light, distance from plant 15-20 cm, light cycle 20/4 and I have 2 of the 3 bulbs on at half intensity for now

My temperatures and RH shift between the 16-20 degrees and 75-85% humidity.
I currently don't have a ventilation system set up, I open the tent about three times a day for a while for air exchange. I have coming a small fan to install inside. I also have a fan as an extractor, it's power is 150m³/h. Here is the link to the fan:

PS. The main stem was about 10 cm higher, I carefully curved it and dug it underground 2 days ago

New Lamp and Adjusting Ph

Hi fellow growers,

I am posting an update with my new lamp and ph levels. Here is the lamp: Cree CXB3590 3500K 100W.My current temperatures have risen already to 21.5-22.5 C from the lamp, humidity levels fluctuate from 70-80% depending on when my fan is on.
For the nutrients Top coco A+B from Top crop and Bac Ph Down since my tap water ph is 7. I have given a watering today with a tiny bit of nutrients and with a Ph level of 5.78. The runoff from the bottom of the pot was at a Ph level of 6.15.
I was wondering if I should purchase Cal mag or any other product.

Dump that light and buy a proper one, that one you have is not 150w, you're lucky if it's 30w, it will never grow a plant

Yep, a real light and a real pot would help (air pot or smart pot). Is that a baking pan? Any light will do, the more you spend the better the quality, yield, and spectrum will be. MarsHyrdro is your entry LED brand, and it goes up from there. Basically you're gonna spend $300-$1800 for a decent to great LED, though you could get away cheaper if you're handy and can do a DIY COB setup. Alternatively you could use HPS, as yield per space is unbeatable and cheap, but it's really hot, and requires cooling techniques (AC/venting/air cooled hood).

Thanks for the info @jb_moviefan , I will look later into DIY COB setups. My temps are a little bit low right now since it's winter here. Hps could be the solution, I am looking to buying more fans to have a good ventilation by summer time since it gets around 30 degrees here. Any recommendations if I were to go into HPS lights?

Also would it be worth it to keep going with this plant or would you say I wait till I get another light and start over?

I would recommend a Mars Hydro TS1000 for that size, 130 Euro from their website and if you use discount code AFN you get another couple of percent.

Alright I will look into those lights, thanks for the help. Btw should I dump the seedling I have or see if anything happens?

Keep going imo, she might surprise you.

You'll be impressed with the Autocob for a 60x60 compared to lower quality/efficiency of the cheaper Chinese lights like Mars/Spiderfarmer

Yep, keep it going, no reason to pull her, just drop another bean in when you get your new light. I like the yield master air cooled hood from sun systems, and I run yield lab hps bulbs. Hortilux is better, but only marginally, and far more expensive. For the ballast it really doesn't matter, just how many extra features you want (dimmable/timer/better heat sink/smaller/ cooler looking). Solistek matrix is the best ballast I've found, but I don't see any difference with my cheap Chinese ballasts in terms of yield.

I have decided to purchase a cob light, it is pretty much a copy of the autocob @damien50 mentioned. I was wondering about the PH of the soil, front the comments and what I have read coco coir requires a more acidic level. Could anybody recommend any nutrients? Thanks everyone for the help, learning a lot with your info

Congratulations you are going to do just fine if you follow up on the few suggestions offered.

Yes, I have a couple 10L smart pots coming. Together with PH- and some coco a&b nutrients. I have also purchased some ZAMNESIA Monster Bud mix, I'll be using it for the next auto I'll plant. COB led has yet to come, I have my third set of serrated leaves coming out.
