Dry and cure

Well, it's always the same song like the french say.. Towards the middle of the flowering stage, I seem to forget all the trouble that the plant might have been through and I see myself still hoping for a big ol' harvest. But it's when the bud hit the scale that reality comes back with a slap in my face hahaha -> 1oz plus 5g of trim approx. Once I even let a plant stretch up to a almost 4 feet after I had topped it, and later realized that I completely forgot to LST it.. I'm not really that forgetful, but I seem to get hyptnotized by the growth. Well, I'm a little bit more careful now anyways..

Left it to dry a tad too much. 14 days with quite a bit of fluctuation of temps and RH. Stuck at 58% in the jar, so I added a little platic bag with a bit of wet cotton, and back to 62% (after a few attempts of varied amounts of cotton) Before drying I did a rough wet-trim.

And obviously, I took a quick pic before starting the dry trim, and forgot to take pics of the buds, so focus was I on getting them buds in the jar as quick as possible.. I'll take a few more pics once they ready to puff

Hey lovely jubs.. I just realized I didn't give any details about the RH and temps I worked with during that grow.. My environment stayed pretty stable between 50 and 58% (although some of my pics can show different, as pics were taken with the tent doors open) temps stayed around 23 and 26. I only started to use seriously a VPD chart towards the second part of flowering, once the main bulk of buds is in place..

Lately the temps dropped a bit, so I had to drop the RH too according to my RVPD. (22/23C and 49-52% RH) I don't have a IR thermometer yet so I won't start going into numerous plant temp mesuring haha I juste assume (and hope) that the average of the leaves are about 1 degree C lower than the tent average temp. It's all guesstimate anyways as the temps and RH are not exactly the same at different places in the tent...

Awesome seeing how this Beauty grows just found mine N post alongside other cultivars I'll post results now found site lovely Girl Enjoy Gromie 🇬🇧💚🌱💯🔥😉👊☮️

Right, so after 2 months or so curing in glass jars 3/4 full at about 62% RH down to 58% in the last few weeks, the smell is not that strong and the taste is still a bit harsh, so I'm well gutted. Must've dried it to fast.
Still, gives a good little high, slightly uplifting, with a taste of pine, and a bit of lemon and pepper (my son cares to disagree on the last two)
Might give it another try in the future
