bf glue gelato auto,bf wedding cake auto, fb mimosa cake auto - day 48 / 42 /36
Hi pals,
we are heading in the final phase of the glue gelato - her story first, cos it's been on full nute mix transitioned. All went smooth, as you can see in the (non) progression with the lower fans

see wednesday above, then

today
2023-11-06-173316_009.jpeg

not much of a progress - so all went fine this time for her at least - we will watch the others as well.

I rearranged the tent a little and used the opportunity to do some solo shots of her she was the fastest and had time to occupy some space

2023-11-06-173316_010.jpeg

she ist on 0-0-40-10 / NPK6-15-13 EC 2.0

the others are somewhere in the stretch to bloom phase
I just changed the res to 14-8-5-8 / NPK 8-11-16 EC 2.2 for them, cos they both need more P now and even if it is a little early for the mimosa cake I want to catch her stretch a bit. Normally I would wait a bit longer before I put the transition mix on her. But it's not too early, she'll come clear.
Here the pyramids come into play - they expell the overdoses that might be there, so I just raised EC a bit, so there's enough N in.

The two are still both raised 6 cm for better light penetration, as the gg shades a lot of their limited space that is left for them.
gg left up, wedding cake right up and mimosa cake lower mid - sativa leaning bitch stil lstretches.

narrow but mimosa cake in the front stands tallest, will be bend to the sides the coming days
2023-11-06-173316_002.jpeg

Regulating humidity now is "not easily done", cos I'd like to keep the gg dryer than the other two...will try to keep 60%
that's it for this weeks regular update.
Cheers! :pass:

some developement today already i want to share, so you understand why I so advocate to keep at least the lower fanleaves as indicators/detectors

I told you yesterday, that i normally would wait to set the mimosa cake on the early bloom transtion - usually i wait about a week after stretch has finished. But I am lazy and didn't want to maintain 3 different reservoirs - 2 is enough.
So she is on transition nutes too early and shows me that promptly.

The splotches were there for a longer time - old scars from cal/mal imbalance i had on all the girls in the beginning, forget about them.
Just watch the tissue and color loss - The tissue breaks down and the leaf is becoming brownish-yellow - (not light yellow!).
So She tells me that though i raised the EC it wasn't enough for her to get enough K.
2023-11-07-173055_008.jpeg

as you can see, the upper parts are still fine - no damage there from top to bottom and nicely green.

2023-11-07-173055_007.jpeg

2023-11-07-173055_002.jpeg

So now I have time to decide what to do - ramp up EC further would not be a good idea, because the wedding cake is doing fine and can not take too much more - she begins to stack the buds.
2023-11-07-173055_003.jpeg

her fans are still OK and hopefully will be to indicate the full bloom switch to me - there was a lot of defoil, but not the lower fans
2023-11-07-173055_004.jpeg

So perhaps the best is just to top up the mimosa cake with some extra K and very little N.- bugbud i have at hand and will do the job presumably.
So before i feed a litre i put 1ml bb into the pyramid and let it flood in with the rest of the nute mix.
We will see the outcome.

And because I have seen so many fancy tools/trainers to give the plants branches directions, here are my diy in action.
Didn't pinch the one in the back properly so it is crinkled
No 3d.printer needed, nor Amaz...

Will let you know about the progress, so we all learn a bit and have it documented.

Cheers! :pass:

So it seems i cought her - the affected leaf is nearly sucked up, but the others aren't affected (yet).
progression
2023-11-09-123509_007.jpeg

2023-11-09-123509_003.jpeg

the other leaves are OK, some minor defects - above all looks still green and lush
2023-11-09-123509_002.jpeg

and now to something different - this is the underskirt of the glue gelato, and I an going to introduce an N def to see how she is. If the leaves go yellow, i have to wait a little to cut it more. But I think she is in the last 2 or 3 weeks, so i think she won't need too much now, so I take it more out of the mix. As you can see she introduces some slight defs and I simply add more bloom the next days to raise what she needs. I'll recognise fast if she needs more N then.

bf glue gelato auto,bf wedding cake auto, fb mimosa cake auto - day 55 / 49 /42
Monday and some nice progress
The ladies took off and the tent is stacked now as i like it.
The glue gelato is heading to a fast end.
I am slowly decreasing the nutes strength on her now. Perhaps 2-3 Weeks I guess.
You perhaps remember this one from above...
2023-11-13-145539_011.jpeg

not too much changed about it - neither abandoned, nor progressed damage. She is happy and theres all going well. I was a little low with EC at times, so there are some crispy tips due to P lack, but she is really nice - now she has to fatten up still, the buds are not "fat", but frosty as hell
2023-11-13-145539_006.jpeg
2023-11-13-150958_002.jpeg

then there is little wedding cake - she did most "perfect" - growing like weed. I didn't tamper with her at all, just gave her the base 8-11-16 with no changes until today.

Lower leaves indicate i did all right and she liked it
2023-11-13-145539_009.jpeg

the upper part smiles at me - stretch is over and budding up now. I just changed the regime to 8-15-13 lowering N the next weeks. We will see how she responds on her lowers later.

2023-11-13-145539_005.jpeg

then there is the mimosa cake - she shows her sativa heritage and she was mistreated a bit by me - documented above. After adding a little too much K (and not caring my own words to not flus topped "teas" but leave them for a while), she got me a mg lockout that did some damage below, but was evened out after some days again. She is youngest and is still on 8-11-16 - She now needs a higher EC and i go with 2.3 on her.

Here's the mg damage isolated on a leaf - 3 fans are affected - it was fast and did a lot of harm.
2023-11-13-145539_016.jpeg

she is in the front row and doing nicely in the upper parts
2023-11-13-145539_008.jpeg

they are all lush green and the mimosa cake will be switched to full bloom nutes in the coming days also, just waiting for the P def sets in, becaus i cannot predict her behaviour as well as the wc - i think she will need micros and N some more time.
2023-11-13-145539_003.jpeg

couldn't make a better overview...upper left glue gelato, upper right wedding cake, lower mimosa cake

Cheers and have a nice Week! :pass:

Today I was watching the glue gelato and found some brown trichs. She is also already foxtailing, so she is a fast one - I think she will be down before day 65 - I'll harvest in the coming days. She hasn't developed too heavy buds, but is super frosty.
First of all i took off all the lowers now - reservoirs and indicators no longer needed.
2023-11-16-172753_007.jpeg

She will have only plain water from now on, and only once a day.

I'll keep you up to date.

The other girls are now on the same res with bloom only 0-0-40-9 NPK 5-15-14 EC 1600. Not the time to forther talk about them now.

Hi all,
not much time today for taking nice pics, but i want to keep the monday scheduled.
Sorry for the bad pics, but was in a hurry - were there less than 5 mins, just to check all.
Nothing too much going on.
Glue gelato on water only and eating up.
The other two ladies are on full bloom feed EC 1500 now dropping the next weeks, i learned they won't need so much now

glue gelato ripe - won't last long

I guess there will be some more post this week.

Cheers! :pass:

bf glue gelato auto,bf wedding cake auto, fb mimosa cake auto - day 64 / 57 /51 - partial harvest of gg
So today there were a lot of brown trichs above and a lot of crispy tips, so i decided to partially take the bf glue gelato auto down.
Here some pics before

Some days since last post. Took some test puffs of the glue gelato, and i am veeery pleased!
The lower section is still alive and in the tent, but first lets see the other two girls - it's hard to take proper pics atm, theres stuff around and i can't get a good angle
