Quick question would like some peoples input. currently have an afghan kush ryder day 36, in a 3 gallon container under a 400w hps. For the first 6 weeks my lighting schedule has been 18/6 under MH, i just switched it to HPS 12/12 due to having a photosensitive strain in the tent with the autos. I was wondering if going 12/12 on week 6 will lower the autos yeild even though they were under 18/6 for the good majority of there life. I was thinking running 12/12 for the flowering cycle shouldnt affect yield?

You still should get a good yield on 12/12,I had to do the same thing and they turned out ok.

I did my auto purple in 12/12 got 25g dry

i do this same thing with the same exact strain! No it should not lower ur yield nor quality of resin. In fact it WILL take your AKR LONGER to finish though... This happens EVERY time with my AKR's also ive been doing them for about a dozen runs now, and like i had stated EVERY time it slows them down, they should start getting more donkey ears on them "people here on AFN call them Fox Tails" but u actually might even get MORE off of them this way because they have a longer time to grow... GL and watch ur ladies for these instances u will notice the changes; it doesn't take long for AutoFlowers to change there traits in the middle of a grow.

idk y it says AKR 2 times in a row, i went to edit the post and its only showing 1. ne ways its suppose to Say: it will in fact take longer for your AKR to finish though. sorry about the mishap.
