1st ever grow and have a dumb question

This is water that went thru the filter coming outta fridge door and has sat for 24hrs+! Got a fairly good Apera Ph meter so pretty sure it’s accurate.

Waiting on ppm meter to arrive now! Called the place I got it and they said my soil as it came was ph’d at 7.3. Seen as I just found that out today after I transplanted into 5gal smart pots cuz overnight they were almost touching the lid of Jiffy greenhouse and roots coming out sides so they didn’t wanna wait. That’s why wanna make sure not giving it the 8.0 from my tap

Did find out the place I got soil is an authorized dealer for gorilla tents so getting a 2X4X8ft tall cuz it has the extension for only $100

I use the cheap pucks all the time and and all most never take the net off and never had a problem they grow through it quick

That’s what I figured since in barely 48hrs the lil babies roots were already sticking out I didn’t think that was gonna cause any problems. Thx

Net needs to come off with autos, roots will get thru, but the time lost is not able to be made up for with an autoflower, can cause small girls... I germinate seeds and place straight into their final pot. Autos are on the clock, no need chancing slowing down with either the net, or the disturbing of the roots.

I'm a month into my first grow , which I started the Jiffy way. the fist seed that popped, is the runt, by far
this could be it
next grow I might just germinate in the pot, just makes sense
