yeah, kinda expensive though.
my 30W modul costs 139 Euro, but beliefing reports, saying they damn rock.

gotta test it in a pc/micro grow and maybe upgrade to 4 of them growing 60cmx40cm

Thanks for the follow lowbudge. Can u post a link or picture of it, is it similar to mine? So your led is 30w and you got 1 for 139 euro that's 178.23 USD for 1. I payed around that price for 2 35w LEDs. But yours may be better than what I got I'm a total noob when it comes to these LEDs. Really interested in what you may have. I also want to do PC grow but all the old ones I found around the house are only like 16 inches in height and I have to back all those up first too. But thanks again mate. I'm totally stumped as to how you got cal/mag def this early in growth. You said this was a day 10 right? I'd imagine this would only happen with R/O water or equivalent.

My recent 'test' seeds in dwc weren't this big at all at day 10 from seed. Maybe half the size and one node less...

Thanks a lot Vick! She needs it. But yea this is first time playing with R/O and I shod of known but I thought my nutes would be enough. My R/O is only 4 ppm so basically nothing at all in it, now I have to play with the cal mag additive to figure out the right amount got them.

Quick update will post more today but I had to show this asap. Changed res and check out these roots on day 12!!!

Day 12 CB & DD
Day 7 AA​

Changed the res today placed nutes at a lil above 1/4 strength 5ml A&B each, B-52 1/4 2ml,Cal/Mag 1/2 a lil above 5ml & Nirvana 1/4 2.5 ml. Res came to PPM 640 equivalent to an Ec of .91

Cal/mag def seems to be close to a stop it seems as the growth that was already exposed to the low cal mag def showed some spots. I believe the problem also was due to that my ph kept rising to 6.5 after a couple of hours bc my local hydro shop gave me the wrong nutes come to find out I had the regular non ph perfect grow but ph perfect bloom AN sorted it out sent me two replace bottles of the actual ph perfect grow and a free 500ml Nirvana. So hopefully it was stay in that sweet spot range of 5.7-5.9 to that my babies can really absorb that calcium as calcium is locked out around 5.8 in hydro.

i see that you bout some leds as well -- looking frward to seeing how you attach them and how they work out for you!

just got my lights put in the other day and im loving the color combo. -- just cant wait to see how much or how the yield turns out.

Yeah r/o water definitely needs some tweaking. I've heard of some growers bringing up their water to 150ppm with cal/mag nutes as a base and then apply nutes to it with whatever strength they choose (1/4, 1/2 etc) if you wanted an idea. You should be fine using 5ml cal/mag per gal at this point but make sure to see how high your ppm rate goes per gallon before adding anything else. A total ppm of 400-600 is great at the 2 week mark. What is your total ppm in the res right now?

Thanks for dropping by herbal. :smokebuds: thanks for the comments. Still tryin to tweak this RO bur I think I'm coming close. LEDs should be here in a week, I'm still trying to figure out come ideas of how I'm going to place them but I'm think prob something like yours.

The new setup with the LED UFO is sick the color spectrum is beautiful & I'm sure you will great s great yield with that now ESP growing an inch overnight so early.

Thanks Vick as always you drop some good info on me, I was thinkin about that yesterday (adding cal/mag first) as I was changing the res, I'm def going to do that next time. :thumbs:

my ppm was at 640 last night and was 661 this morning this equals around .9 EC. I really didnt want to go that high but I see Seymour running higher EC's at this same stage so hopefully they will be ok.

Update 4/1/13 Day 14 CB & DD
Day 9 AA

What's goody AFN

Yesterday was the two week bday of Cheese Berry & Double Diesel. Growth slowed a bit the night of the res change, the next morning they really didnt have any growth and were kinda droopy, I think they had to get used to the new AN ph perfect grow formula but that evening they were looking good. Growth is at a good rate now, I'm concerned that lil adjusting they had to do really set back the Amphetamine. On day 9 CB & DD were bigger than what AA.

Ppm: went down to 572 from 660 they were hungry
Ph: rose to 6.2 adjusted to 5.7
Temp: lowest 62 lights off / highest 80 lights on
RH: lowest 29/ highest 52

Im not a Hydro dude in the slightest,But I was curious since I really dont know if its the same with the Hydro component involved since the res. is at a certain temp. Im guessing.But more than a 15 degree swing in the lows is often and can be a bad thing in soil anywho.LOL!Does it seem to have a major effect in slower growth?
