Lol thank you so over the past couple years or so I've learned so much about growing and one of the most important things that most people don't pay enough attention to is the roots. Bigger healthier more thriving your root system the better the plant. With that being said I focus most of my veg time on trying to get my roots to explode as much as I can before they start to transition. The grow medium and pot does make a difference but I also found its the love also. Gotta put got love and positive energy into your babies lol idk about that but I do know the more your roots can breath the better your plant with thrive.
Now we are 20 and 24 days old and the growth has been impressive but Mephisto Genetics always do. The three bears og is starting to show white hairs. So very excited.
I've learned that growing our favorite plant is an art almost like making love. No two strains can be treated the same just like women [emoji23][emoji23]. But I have found some common ground with all the strains that I have grown. They all enjoy Emerald Harvest Nutrient, botanicare liquid karma, terpinator and Mammoth P. I also use some addictive from Humbolt Emerald Triangel but I will share those another time as I alternate how I feed my ladies. Today Bev and Sissy are 24 and 30 days old and both have transitioned into bloom with white hairs everywhere. Since they are starting to bloom they are starting to smell. OMG I don't think it was very smart of me to grow to OG strains at the same exact time in the same tent. I was awoken by the wonderful smell of them at 240 this morning so by 330 I had dug out the ventech carbon filter and fan and some ducting. I just sat the carbon filter inside the tent at the bottom with the fan on it with the ducting straight out the top. I'm gonna pick up a small ona jar or whatever gel odor scent I find that I like that doesn't smell like a truck stop bathroom and I normally place it inside the exhaust ducting as another way to cover smell. I'm running LED so there was no need to use it for heat extraction. Stinky genetics mephistos are lol.
I looked at the mammoth p it looks good I almost bought the liquid karma but I have some nitrozyme I need to finish first I will be adding the liqid karma next I'm still deciding on the mp it sure looks like it does a good job you all here at afn teach me what to purchase I've relied on you all for ever decision I've made on equipment etc and I believe it's what has made my first grows successful.Im going to watch these girls become BIG ladies. That mammoth p is organic right?
We are at 27 and 33 days old now woohoo. Vertical growth is really starting to kick in. They needed to be watered so I figured I would measure them. Sissy the supernatural OG is 17.5" or 44 cm at 33 days and Bev the 3 bears at 30 days old is right under 14" or 36 cm. with this feeding of my nutes I also Crystal burst, Deep breath and Snow Storm Ultra and will change this in the next week or two when I am out of the prebloom phase. Both ladies drank half a gallon each. I'm kinda torn on rather I like this plant warrior pots. I love the aeration of the bottom for root growth but with air comes dry grow medium so if I'm water water almost everyday I might as well go back to coco. I don't really care to defoliate my babies but I do remove those lower leaves that touch the soil or the branches that I see are just a drain on the plant. Other than that I'm always excited to see how big they can get. I kinda enjoy the battle of containing the growth but nothing better than seeing a 6ft tall plant that you grew lol. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and happy growing.
Both girls look wonderful! Youve got the green thumb for sure! I have a 3BOG that is several days old. Her first set of leaves is strange. I saw yours on page one looked like the leaves were a little on the small side too. Is this the only 3bog you've grown? Sorry if you already said. I'm a pothead...
