So a breeder on another forum I go on is claiming G13 lab seeds stole his strain picture, tweaked the colors and is using his picture as their 'Pineapple express' strain.

You be the judge.

I see two pics here, they are the obviously the same pic.
Your friend claims it is his pic.
Obviously G13 believes they have a right to use the pic as a representative of their pineapple express.
I don't know who you are, who your friend is, or really who G13 is, but they have been around for a loooong damn time, I can't really imagine why they would need to steal a picture.
However, I can see a reason for someone virtually unknown to "just toss this out there, you know, for everyone to judge for themselves".

Devil's advocate, the g13 shot is a cropped version of the friend shot. Unless g13 has a wider version of that picture too, I'd rule on favor of thr friend. Plus the leaves are hella green for being so close to.harvest, the purple seems more believable. I've got no dog in this fight, those are just what my deductive reasoning brain noticed. Also, stitch had been around a long time and he seems pretty sketchy, so I'd think longevity wouldn't play into this. I have no clue what kind of reputation they have, honestly. All in good spirits here!

I've grown five pineapple express at the same time and none of the plants looked like the plants they show on their site. The reason I even wanted to grow them was I like the structure of the plant,well and the movie.Maybe that's why there really isn't much info on origins of the strain. That was around two years ago tho...The first pic of the plant looks awesome. Beautiful plant!!!
