I want to grow 4 autoflowers at a time in my dwc system. 4 single 5 gallon buckets. How big of a grow room for 4 plants? 4x4 or 5x5 or 6x6? And how many autocobs to power 4 hydro plants? I was thinking starting with 4, 1 per plant, then maybe adding 4 more down the road for 2 per plant to see if it increases yields or about the same.

I'm going to build it myself. 2 by 4s for a frame and the material I'll build with is attached in the picture. I only have 6 foot ceilings so 6x6x6. I'll have to throw up a scrog net to train them or low stress train them to keep them lower since I have height restrictions where my room will be. I'll make it work. How many auto cobs in a 6x6x6 foot room?

I need 72 feet of 2x4s to build the frame. 4 pieces of 6 feet for vertical and 8 pieces horizontal. 12x6 =72 feet

I've been growing in a 4x4 for a while and I usually do four plants. I could run two more plants easily. Those plants, at this juncture, are under 6 Autocobs. Going bigger seems like the prudent move for you. Give yourself more wiggle room for future expansion. One Autocob per plant works very well. Good luck.

I'm thinking of building 2 or 3 rooms. Either 3x3x6 or 4x4x6. 2 plants each room with 2 cobs each room. So I can have plants coming down every month roughly once it starts, perpetual harvests, less to trim at a time also.

That's what I was thinking. 4 to start and add another 4 more later for my second grow to see if yields increase.
I've got 2 in a 2x4 tent and after my first grow with them going to get another for that space. 1 per is good but I dont think 2 per plant would be overkill in fact its probably just right. Just my opinion.
