I currently have two kessil 150 in magenta (36w draw each) and I grew out 4 autos each in a 3 gallon pot and yielded about 10g each. So they produced about .5g per watt. I have moved and will now be using a GrowLab 40 - 40x40x120 (centimeters), I also plan to only do 1-2 plants at a time.

My question is, would it be overkill to add their new H380 (90w draw) and can switch between their veg and bloom spectrums. Would be roughly a total of 162w draw. Think the tent could contain it with serious LST I know some people have pulled 90g+ in this size tent (using hydro though I grow in soil)
or would you suggest I try one grow with the two 150s and see if I'm happy with the results ? My goal is to stagger the growth of two plants so I harvest one every 5-6 weeks and get roughly 30g per plant - seems doable with the two 150s at .5g per watt drawn.

Thanks any input or advice is appreciated !

Hey guys n gals, I'm wondering about my PH and EC issues. Currently my tap water runs at PH of 9 and EC of .4, the PH has gone up from 7.5 since the beginning of my grow. I'm adding 4 litres of PH'd water at around PH of 5.6 over the course of the day to bring things down from around PH 6.9 EC 1.8 and doing a res change 3 times a week. Im wondering about the sweet spot and how to find it, you guys got any ideas?
Peace
Aty.

TANG have you seen these http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hydr...ics-seeding-growing-flowering/1598449383.html If so what is your opinion of them.I ordered a few of the 3 watt diodes they arrive tuesday and a thermal test showed that they are running about 32% efficiency at 2 watts input power on a three watt diode. the spectrum looks good to me as well but you are the expert on leds so I would like your opinion

5.8 is the sweet spot for hydro I believe bro.

They look good on paper just make sure you get a good spectrum and spread the light well.

If you lift the pot you should be able to gauge if there is water in the soil.

Cheers Tang but if the soil in dry a couple of inches down then would 1 LTR of water be ok? At the moment they are getting about 1 LTR between all 5 of them and im starting to think that was ok at the start but now i should be giving them more as they prob have more roots looking for water now?

Cheers for your help! :)
