Hello everyone! I'm hesgone13 from Virginia. Been lurking around here for a couple of months absorbing all I could from the many excellent threads. The knowledge and kindness of 99% of folks here totally amazed me. I have been on other forums for other hobbies and it seemed there was always a cliche of people who decided who got noticed etc. I haven't seen that here!

Having been away from MJ use and info for several years I was overwhelmed at how far things have come although Virginia ain't exactly what you would call progressive when it comes to MJ use, either medicinally or recreational. I'm almost 68 years old and have severe osteoarthritis. I was hooked on prescription narcotic for about 5 years and would like to investigate cannabis grows for pain relief. Also, I love to listen to live music concerts that I have collected over the years and would like a strain to enhance this. Anyway, I hope to get a grow going soon as soon as I make sure of finances and security. Hope to talk with a lot of you down the line as I'm sure I will need a bunch of that good ol' AFN help!

Heavy indica strains you will likely find the most beneficial for arthritis. Canna certainly has the effect to help with a condition like that for sure. Also consider trying out a cbd strain. Not quite the intense psychological effects of high thc, but from a medical perspective they really do work well. Here is some of my indica high thc favorites, Blackstone from the autoflower portal, Amber from the autoflower portal, Dutch Passion Auto night queen, Dutch Passion Colorado cookies, Mephisto 24C.

Tunes - yes for sure....I dig uphigh sativas for creativity inducing and just for the upbeat high that puts you right in the groove. Favorites Dutch Passion Brooklyn Sunrise, Dutch Passion Euforia, Autoflower portal Citrus Noir.

Howdy neighbor! I'm a couple hundred miles west of you in the great state of Kentucky, (where men are men and the livestock are scared)!

All kidding aside, I'm almost 60 with plenty of health problems and cannabis has done so much for me, and I'm sure you will discover those same benefits for yourself!

Another one off the pain meds[emoji106] welcome mate I was hooked on oxy for years, now it’s just the mj my life has turned around since I got off the tabs for pain.

@Need4Weed.......a great and true name! From Kentucky, huh? I always heard it was the home of fast women and beautiful horses or something like that, LOL! Seriously, I look forward to easing some my health problems soon with my own medicine. A friend sent me some Pineapple Trainwreck from Cali....it has helped a good bit....not to mention a very decent buzz! Thanks for the kind words!
