I have just bought a Cvault combo package to cure my current grow. I have heard great things about them and wanted to see if anyone on here is or has used them.

My opinion which is just that an nothing more is the are spendy but you have already bought yours. I think it will be just fine, but I don't see any difference between the C Vaults with a boveda and a Ball Jar with a boveda. I use the glass jars. $10 a dozen.

Yeh I have done the Mason jars for years and a friend of mine started using Cvaults last year and swears by them(he does not used the boveda pack with them, says you dont need them with a cvault even though they say to use them). Less work (dont have to "burp" them, rotate . etc) I do have to admit his harvest's have looked better after curing, but as you said I already bought them so I guess I'll find out for myself in a few weeks!

I just got one. My climate changed due to season change and my humidity and Temps drI'd my plants 2 fast they dried with in 2 days and I put them in the cvault they keep getting better still crisp on the outside but I don't think there's changing that since it dried too quick but so far I like them they are do a very good job recovering buds!

the best way imo to utilize the CVault is once you have the start of a few week burp and cure THEN slap it into the vault.after cutting right from the stem into the vault locks in a bit of the trimming odor and gasses into your flowers in my experience.not exactly as advertised if your looking for HIGH end but work excellent for long term curing once started.ive used it prolly five or sixe different times in various stages and thats what ive experienced.

My understanding is that light degrades pot, if slowly. While I have a few storage jars that are airtight, I also use old plastic jars. The plastic lets some light in, so I wrapped them in duct tape.
Duct tape should it's own memorial in Washington, DC...

I have been thinking of trying Ball jars, for vacuum storage. I keep pot for longer periods than most, and was wondering if that would be a better choice for long term storage.

ive stored many strains in ball jars.prolly 8 months or so max so far. as long as its cool and in the dark or at thee very least not in direct light.but yeah irt works well.but for a year or so or a really large harvest of one strain Id lifghtly cure it and gas it off for a cpl weeks then the vault is a great way to move herb around in the dark and crush proof or dont break easily.so theyre great especially if your on the move or going to a buddys house.4l is great but the smaller ones too are excellent for that very thing.if you can afford them and have the material and/or patience to let it sit imo thats an excellent option.i use mine still.ecactly like that and it works lovely.
