ChilLED has pre orders going for their new growcraft ULTRA series and from what I've seen its the highest testing light as far efficiency. Seeing usable numbers as high as 2.7 And you can almost light a 4x4 with 320w! Its pricey though.
Lighting Anyone preorder the new Chilleds? Possibly the best light on the market.

I am running the GrowCraft 500w version just before these. I love the results.
I was really close to ordering that same light. I ended up going a different route but man those are amazing lights
I just ordered a x3 200w for a 2.3x2.3 tent. Is that a good light? Do I need to assemble this thing?

They sell them assembled (with longer warranty)$$$. or DIY for less $$. The assembly was very easy but not for everyone.
It looks pretty simple. I think I got it. But for a 2x2 the x3 mini 200w was a good choice?

I am just moving up from a 48"x48" to a 48"x96" and have a 600w-5 and a 600w-4. I had been using 6 pucks in the 4"x4" and had a heck of a time keeping the heat down. Even with a 6" exhaust. The 5 has been operational now for a week and the bars do an excellent job defusing the heat. My exhaust runs for sort periods a few times a day set at 80f. I will wait until the new ones are in full production and the backlog is reduced. Then order the new replacement bars.
