Nothing to report just yet. Started a single fem bean 9/18/13 in the ol' wet paper towel and woke up this morning (9/20/13) to a 3/4 inch pretty white root hanging out of the seed.

Put her in a 2" rockwool cube in a dixie cup surrounded with MG moisture control, sitting on a heat pad and a 14w 65K cfl about 10" above with reflector. This is my way, always has worked, i know i might catch some flack but i keep an close eye on my babies.

This is the plan...

- Sprout will get 2 14w 65K cfls 5 inchs spacing until i get a set.
- After growth starts i will put 4 14w 65Ks up within inches until I feel she can take some light.
- Once shes ready i will put my 125w cfl 65K up top and hang the 4 65w along side.
- Through out veg I will work up to 125w 65K on top with 6 small 65Ks around sides.
- After hairs start popping nice i will replace 65Ks with 4-6 27Ks (depending on size i pick up) along sides.

I will start posting pics regularly when it sprouts and keep a log of growth.

I will be going cheap with MG moisture control and something organic it help with flowering. Any tips on cheap/easy nutes to add would be considered and greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the support and any followers, Peace,
Devil1

**edited... Im running 65Ks for veg and my 125w cfl is a 65K... DUH!

Nice to have you with us on your grow. Your lighting sounds ok but don,t wait to long before you give her your full lighting. MG soil has shown to cause problems with many auto growers and therefore is not recommended. Try and get some other mix like fox farms, promix or any other organic soil that does not contain any nutrients. You will have fewer problems with them concerning PH problems.Good luck on your grow and keep in contact if you have any other questionsthat we can help you with.:styles rasta::karma Cloud:

Thanks for the tips. I had to edit because i had my lumen mixed up. i plan on going back and picking up some more things for the soil today, perlite, veg nutes and maybe some neutral soil to thin out the MG. I usually make my own soil from scratch but money is tight right now. Ill see what i can do about picking up what you recommended.

I have a a PH kit on the list also.

I will post later what i ended up with.

Thanks again for the tips, peace,

I received a couple fem beans as freebies from a recent order. Im not sure on the rules about posting seed bank names on the open forum so PM me for the source if you want.

I emailed them and asked why i couldnt find any reviews or info period on the strain and they said they get a lot of rare strain from a private breeder out of spain. From the genetics of "blackberry" (black domina x rasberry cough) I am very excited
to crop this out try her out. I'll be sure to write a nice smoke report when the time comes.

Also thinking of ordering some reg lowryder seeds and growing out a decent male to breed with the other auto blackberry. Maybe even the auto black domina that Sagamatha carries.... hmmm.. :twist:

Will do dude, nice one but you should be fine to post seed info, will help folks find what they're looking for
I've got a good knowledge of the seeds out there and certainly haven't come across a Blackberry auto yet, and it's genetics sound awesome. Hopefully 'they' put them out for sale, would love to add that to my collection :)

Trying to gain some seeds from them is exactly what I'd do as well but I'd probably look into backcrossing it with itself by reversing the sex on part of the plant, that way keeping lowryder out of the mix. Just my personal preference :)

Can't wait to see what your girls look like dude

I got them from "Sea of Seeds", they are my personal favorite source. Daily special on at least 15 strains a day. I spent under $50 and ended up with a 11 beans (5 strains).

Anyways, question or maybe idea. I have one seed if SOS isnt interested in selling me a pack (not a freebie anymore and not listed).

If this plant is nice and bushy i might be able to take two decent size clones from my next seed, reverse sex on one then let them get to work.

Think that would be possible?

Here are a couple pics I took today (9-23-13). This is a quick growing healthy looking little girls. Im hoping it has a lot of the orange and purple like some of the phenos in its genes.
