Mornin all.
Got some wierd behaviour on russian dragon and duurty dragon crosses.

To start,the russian dragon lady.
She was culled as a runt.chucked out my growroom window onto an outside work table.
She rooted in an old soil bag and survived for over a week unnoticed.
I replanted her into a 3.5l pot and she grew normally.flowering under 24/0 by day 21.
She cruised along happily,albeit small.
Buds form in bunches of calyxs and she smells like a fruit salad, seeds are starting to fall and calyxs ambering up.
I give her 2 weeks until chop and start drying the seeds I have collected .
Now at 125+ days I notice the single bladed leaves and explosive growth akin to a photo clone taken in early flower.
this is her a few weeks ago

Then

and now...She is revegging.

Now I could blame this one the rough young life the little'un had right....

But why is it happenening on the 135-140'ish day russian dragon?

Certainly to a lesser degree. ..but hell?
This has happened before on a flash santa autoflower.harvested and left in the sun,120 days plus she revegged fully yielding ne an additional 60g.

The only common factor is a nute called guanoflo, soil mix is new.

Any ideas

They will surprise you with the regeneration and the general attitude is that its not worth wasting the time or space.

Anything that nabs extra buds cant be bad and since they are outside why not.

You know the funny thing is that the plants don't even look like weed plants after they reveg in your pics which is kinda cool too.

These are running under my 270w apollo led in my cab, only outside for watering and some extra sunshine lovin while im booked off at home.
The duurty fem doesnt have a single 5 blade leaf on the plant, only one or two 3 blade.
Problem is this is my smoke, already running a month later than my latest projection....this should be cured by now

They dont look like mj plants, if its outside and not in the way would be interesting to see how she does... I mean she has been through world war 1 for a plant, chucked out windows n wat not lol

They just look like normal revegging plants...Which is why this is so strange.

I find this incredibly interesting! Please report what you observe:tiphat:

They are on a strict water only diet this week.
i want to see if me trying to combat yellowing may have bumped up N too much and triggered reveg.
admittedly its not exactly idea for my current smokeless scenario, but it is useful to have as a tool if required.
Here is the grow log for more detailed images of the earlier plants and buildup

what pollenated the Russian dragon curious if the seeds grow normal or wacky

Offspring is perfectly normal, except that a minimum of half also possibly reveg if treated the same .

Right on MrMcbud! That was exactly what i was talking about :High 5:. If you could make out a specific reason,
and can recreate this, then you would be the guy who made cloning autos possible :D:
Would also be very interesting how they would react to regular waterings with auxins or better their salts.

Good Luck :tiphat:

Both were pollinated by this Duurty X russian Dragon male.
Both Male and female from the same seedrun.
russian dragon is my second cross of the strain from Seeds from Mossy,if i recall F5's.
they didn't all auto but the photo's i grew were potent beyond anything i have smoked before or since.
this could affect the duurty's though,as they were also crossed to the rd's
sexed at 15 days,finished by 90

I certainly hope the seeds are viable,i have some pollen stored in the freezer to cross again.
That male was astounding, photo like vigour in an auto timframe.
almost 1m high in a 3,5l pot

Well..That IS an Oddity...:jaw:..that is Definitely re-veg.

The only way I have Managed That is to massively increase their light.

Both times have involved girl that were winter outdoor..then moved indoor under lights when bad weather hit..
so massively increasing their light hours.

I also managed to re-veg auto clones in the early days.

Have you changed the light hours at all...?
