Hi All,

Where my grow is located we do get occasional power cuts - mostly in the winter time. Sometimes these can last several hours and for stealth reasons I really can't afford to have several hours of any flowering plants not getting the smell filtered.

What I'd like to rig up is a battery back up for the circuit my exhaust fan is on that works automatically. A setup that will detect that there is no mains power currently going to the exhaust fan and automatically switch to a leisure battery hooked up to an inverter.

Does anyone have any experience creating a system like this ? I'm reasonably handy with electrics but don't have that much experience in this area.

I already own a deep cycle leisure battery, suitable pure sine wave inverter and a trickle charger from another project.

Any advice would be greatly welcome

Thx, Jack
