ok my friends,thank you for all your advice and willingness to help..Great forum,great people.I popped my buds back in my curing container and waited an hour.Humidity in there is 68% now after 2 hours in the cure jar/container,so i think i am getting there!so how long do you guys burb the jars/containers?and every how many hours?Chester32141,thank you for all your help mate.Appreciated! :group:

First it pays to know what the RH of the air in your house is ... if it's over 55% you don't have a lot to fear from letting the buds breath ... if it's 40% or less you open the jars for a shorter period of time, 1/2 hr at a time a couple times a day ... avoid moving air (fan) but also avoid stagnant air (basement closet) ... the first will dry too fast and the second can cause mold. The RH in the jars flucuate when you first start drying ... as the bud approaches 62% it takes longer to get an accurate reading in the 'jar'. Aim for no less than 55% and no more than 65% and you'll do fine ... once you hit a consistent 60%-65% pop in a Boveda pak or two and your bud should be set for a while. I still like to open jars for a min now and then as long as they still smell strong.

humidity in the house is around 60%-70%..so burbing the jars for 30 minutes should be ok?

At 60-70% you can let the buds breath for about an hour 3-4 times per day ... when the bud is breathing use your hygrometer to determine the ambient rh in the room your curing jar is in ... be very careful that the rh in your curing container doesn't rise too high (rh=75%) ... be a good idea to get those humidpaks ASAP because at 68% a 62% or 65% would probably keep it about the right % ...

Finally took her down today guys!trimmed and manicured and now she is drying in the grow closet with temps of 18c and humidity around 54%.She should be good to jar in about 6-7 days if things go according to calculations.Sure takes a lot of work but all worth it in the end i guess.Looks like i'm gonna yield a whole ounce out of this baby! P.s I have a sore thumb now.Its not easy holding 120 grams with 2 fingers!! Root system was more developed deeper in the soil but i decided to rip her out instead.After thanking her of course!

Thanks man!she has lost that grassy smell and she is starting to smell more like skunk.Not quite there yet but she is developing a pungent smell.I notice each time i burp the container the smell changes.. Had a taste today.just a 0.2 but the high was normal..need to sample her in the morning with a coffee to be able to tell if she buzzes me..
