Ah, she's doing the sleepy leaves thing, ay? Someday I'll find a satisfactory answer to what's up with that... Often as not mine do it too, and more funny, even if the light sched' isn't in sync with actual sunset, they do it anyway! Admittedly, it's not far off sunset, but even a couple hours before lights out it still happens,.. outside, the photo's start relaxing maybe a half hour or so before....

I say kink her now, while the stem is nice and flexible, and the node branches still have some stretch in them yet,... I can't quite tell, is she blooming yet?
I've not watch very closely at others to see what kind of stretch she typically has once early fuzzy crowns have formed,...

Perky update - Day 34ish

I think she's pretty much topped out now, I'm gonna start transitioning from veg to flower nutes.
Transitioning makes it sound more fancy and complex than it really is ... Not like in the human sense where bits get chopped off, or extra bits added. No, she's a strong proud female, and she's not afraid to show you her bits ... Its only natural!! (ok!). And if she wants to be a man ... well thats okay too ... but i WILL have to DESTROY her! (but she wont)

So, I'm gonna (listen! ) give HALF veg nutes ... and HALF flower nutes (so half and half) for 5 litres of feed. And then once it's all eaten (drank) up, I'll be going in with just the flower nutes (for now!!!!!!!).

So @Waira I've been working on some "Alternative" and "Experimental" ways of assessing plant health and nutrient mobility .. And i'm tentatively gonna call it the "Blow" Technique.
It's a work in progress, but you can try it at home. First you lay on your back face upwards, and shuffle towards the plant, and when your face is directly underneath the leaves .. you Blow ... like Free Willy, and see how many times the leaves bounce and what position they fall back into.
If they point down ... more calmag .... If they point up .... it's chlorine macronute def (obvs), and if they lay flat ... well i'm still working on it (WIP).

I've got an (actual) theory on this. .. as they dont do it when they're seedlings. So my theory is they get used to when lights off time is, and shortly before they give it the ole' droppy leaves display ... just to let you know it's nearly bed time.
Can't remember if it happens at a regular point on 24 hours light (i'm on 20/4 since that shocker with blow mind)

She's got space .. I think she's topped out now and in bloom. I'm gonna leave her be and wait (hope) for the laterals to catch up and turn into mini monster colas ^_^
When i give the grumbles at harvest, you can say "Told you so" .. just like mum!!

It is looking a bit Christmasy isn't it! .. I'll give it a couple of weeks for the stems to beef up, but i guees i could hang a few baubles (bawbles!?!?) for fun!

We should also be getting sparkles over the next few weeks ... a light dusting of frost! ^_^

Currently drinking 4ml per litre of Canna Flores, 0.8ml per litre of dutch pro explode (and a tiny splash of calmag)

Looks like there was no complaints about the light PK addition. ^_^
