Do I got another update for you guys!!... Let's begin with the Sweet Bourbon Auto Kush. At day 55 she ain't the youngest in the tent no more, but she sure is a looker

Picture from above reveals most bud sites, but not all

Still got plenty of a way to go before she reaches the finishline, but the trichomes do look tasty to me

And let's not forget the time lapse



Next up is my Fat Pete's Cookies... Nom nom nom, sure smells guuud...

Removed quite some leaves from this one as well.

Although she's the same age as her Bourbon Kush sister, her trichomes still say youngin' to me. What you guys think?

I'd say less ambering, but not necessarily a lot earlier. Looks to me that there is also less clear, so maybe not earlier at all. Might be a difference in ambering tendency, some strains are a lot less that way inclined than others.

Looking good though, good luck on the way to the finish line.

Got a couple of freshly squeezed pictures for you guys. Let's begin with Fat Pete's this time...

At 57 days the buds are starting to swell up with trichomes...

As you can see, they sit very close to each other...Which is a very good indicator that this will occur on the rest of her...

Next up we have our Sweet Bourbon Auto Kush, also at day 57

She definitely is a beast. The amount of bud sites on her is just amazing knowing that underneath her is only a Solocup which by now is rock-hard packed with more roots then she can bear.

I really do think that the continuous dripfeed from the wicking rope is what keeps the roots somewhat nourished and that's what's keeping the plant alive for now. I feel that to do these genetics some justice you need at least a 7gallon (fabric) pot so she can survive between watering's and flourish the way she's meant to.

I know, I know, don't look at the trichomes on the leaves...But still they are a precursor to what's coming to the buds...

These are more from the inside of a bud I pulled open with my fingers while trying to hold the damn USB scope and steadying myself onto the frame of the tent...

This piece of tent fabric looks familiar

Hello fellow SSSCSAA followers...

My Sweet Bourbon Auto Kush is bulking up nicely

All the remaining plants in the tent are doing fine, thanks to the drip system in place. Glad I made the choice to try it out

She's 60 days old today so as long as I treat her well these last couple of weeks (end-date should be between 65 and 75 days) I'm sure a bountiful harvest will await me with this little beauty!!

And let's not forget the time lapse. Three days in 8 seconds @ 120fps. Yeah boys and girls, we're turning up the speed on this one





Here's Fat Pete's Cookies for ya! This one is amazing...the way she is exploding with pistils!!!

Look at the length of the pistils.

She's as old as her sister from the same home, but has a few more weeks to go. ETA is 70 to 85 days, so at least two weeks to go and then the trichomes have to do the talking

Mostly crystal clear trichomes...

I thouched her today and smelled a sweet cookie smell... Strange huh? It might be that Fat Pete's is starting to fume up the tent with her aroma's? In either case...Which one it will be... There's enough to go around...

This was a very dense collection of coloured trichomes, but I'm starting to see a discoloration in some of the cuticles.

Truly amazing plant. The amount of bulking she's been doing is just amazing. Guess I'm doing right by these girls as all are thriving for now. This does extend the grow a bit, but I think this will be forgiven by the harvest pictures that they will give

Be careful about waiting too long for amber. You might have a girl who does not want to do it. Absent other clues. once all the clear is gone on calyxes, I'd be getting the snippers warmed up.

Good luck with it, you have done really well with the solos, your drip system seems to mix well with the small containers.

I hear ya brother. Harvested my Sweet Bourbon Auto Kush and Wedding Glue today. Next week I'll take Fat Pete's Cookies down, then only Where's My Dog remains. But the dog won't be alone for very long... Four Dutch Passion beauties are soon to be planted in an Autopot system

Let me show you what I did today...These are from before.

Not much work to be done...

And after removing all/most of the leaves...

Next...I cut off all the buds and put them into a plastic ziplocked baggy. Into the freezer it went.
When I have the opportunity to get me a couple bags of ice and if I'm home alone...I'll make me some hash from those buds. I kept one branch which got hung next to the Wedding Glue to dry so I can provide you all with a smoke report

That turned out lovely! There were a couple rough days early on but looks like you sorted it out just fine. Strong work by a strong grower as usual. Can't wait to see what you crank out this summer. Last year was amazing to watch in your outdoor space.

So, this is where I've been getting confused on hash making. You do a wet trim, remove the buds from the main stem, and put them right into the freezer? You don't hang/dry/cure at all correct?
