Harvest & Curing Boveda 62%

Are y'all using the small packs or the large packs?

I got the 8g which seems perfect for the size jar i am using 1.3L, have put two in there so not to over work a single one but i reckon i could get away with one in there. So depends on what size storage medium you gonna use really if you got some monster 5L-10L medium you might want to think about a bigger pack.

So being in a somewhat awkward position.... had a harvest 5-6 days ago. Since my dry area is hella-low RH, I dried them for literally a few hours then put them in a paper sack to dry more slowly. I had a hygrometer in there with them. They hit 65% the day I was to leave for a weeks vaca. I put all my carefully grown, highly prized and much cherished somewhat dried harvest in a jar with a Boveda pak. I was leaving town with no choice. So we will see how they are when I get back either tomorrow (sun night) or Monday day. I'm hoping for an aromatic, firm but fluffy stanky nug pile upon my return. As soon as I get home and dig in I will report how they did. Hopefully the 62% Boveda pak is treating them right. I've got some dark purple nugs in there I am dying to try! Mmmmm mouthwatering thinking about them...

Im certain they'll be decent at any rate, but i did that a few times and the 62's will level out your moisture at that level usually.did mine when I did something similar.but Ive found(thats why ya should never dry it with them) that it just about every time leaves a smell of new canna sourness thets essentially dried into the smoke.it maintained that for 2-3 months and never really lessened much.so its(imho at any rate) always good to dry for the full several days if possible without sealing a container around it.Ive done that 5 or 6 times now with the same results each time.some more than others but again imho ,I believe thats more strain separate as to how it'll dry up in that container.if you rinse it extra clean that helps but imo(again since I seem to know everything lmfao hear the crasss?) you should prep your smoke an extra week prior to chop with a clean filtered water rinse for a week extra.the less chems(natural plant chems/or synthetic chems) ya have in your plant the better it'll smell for the duration and even at an earlier time too.including when you stick them in a jar since ya gotta go lol hope ya have a great ole time on your va-ca dude:Sharing One:

Hey!
I was forced into doing something similar and I think the batch turned out fine. Maybe, and I mean maybe, a tad less potent in the odor department. Smoke was smooth and just as potent effects wise though. I think you will be pleased when you get home!

i just received my Boveda 62 (50 pieces) so let the testing begin. I had some 5-6 jars of Original Amnesia in curing (2 weeks in jars, without anything and now just added the Boveda). Lets see what happens.

When i finish my DP AutoX and AutoU i will definitely cure them from start to finish with Boveda-s. If the outcome is as hoped, then i will have to request for an wholesale account at Boveda INC :D

id imagine they'll do juuust fine man assuming ya got a decent dry on em.crack open a cpl times as they plump up and then it'll smooth out nicely for ya imo.and after 5-7 weeks depending it'll be excellently excellent. lol. works for me but im full on organic and that really plays a serious role early on but totally doable for some quality herbals from a chem grow too noo doubt dude!! O.o

man, i have been interested in fully organic grow for a while now, but i had to accept the reality that it was way too soon - i need to dial in the soil. I have grown with Canna Bio line and i could not get a decent flowering going. But definitely i am learning about soil every day (science research - yay!) so hopefully in couple of years i can do a serious all organic grow.

But thanks for the kind words man, i would pass a vape ;)
