Harvest & Curing Boveda 62%

How do you maintain RH above 60 in a jar (and therefore circumvent the degradation of the THC and other CBDs) without one?
I was led to believe that the drier buds get, the less efficacy is retained, and that bud that gets too dry becomes weaker.

if the jar's are sealed I have kept bud at 62% for over a year without losing more than 1% , stored in a cool dark place. if you would be storing for a very long time, then yes boveda pak's are a must. I just grow for myself, so there is no way I can store bud any longer than a year, and even that is rare:biggrin: on large scale grow's they take the work out of curing, but again it just adds unecessary expense to the grow. I am very frugal (cheap and broke) :pass:

Well, I'm certainly guilty of not being able to keep my jars sealed...:)
I'm in and out sniffing all the time...and in an environment that consists of an average
RH of like 20% (Desert Southwest) I'm sure I couldn't maintain those numbers...
Just don't have the discipline to stay out of them, LOL!

FLMAO... you and I are alike! The shit's gone before it has time to dry up and blow away! :pass:

I looked into this, but I am not going to justify the added cost. I am not commercial, but the cost does add up. I put 3oz per jar.....minimum weight per each of the 4 photo plants I do is 24oz, so minimum 32 packs per season.(usually more like 50 needed)
Drying and curing is part of the game for me.

I used 2 x 4g packs per jar, 2oz per jar, AUD$1.50 per pack . That maybe a bit under prescription but it worked for me, and they are reusable until they go brittle. I had perfectly cured buds and the packs are still good to go, and now they smell really nice after doing some curing LOL. Has anyone sniffed their bovedas after they've done curing? mmmmm LOL. I'd urge you to just try a few in a couple of your jars and judge them then. I feel $3 per oz is a small price to pay when they certainly give you peace of mind.
