Harvest & Curing Boveda 62%

when they get crispy, put them in a moist environment (bag of fresh trim) they soak up and get squishy again.
I have used them over and over.
I would not use the Boveda bags if I had large amount to deal with (pounds and pounds) for me its keeping my stash fresh and tasty!

I should almost grab a few packs just for the single jar of each variety I have opened all times. The rest stay sealed until I run out of the first jar.

I use a small pack (8 grams) in a very large mason jar. They've lasted me well over a year and the packs that haven't been removed from the packaging are still fresh and ready to use. My buds never dried out and the jar was opened frequently. Stored in a cool dry environment.

The smell over time was incredible and smoke was superb. My buddy's thought I had a fresh harvest when really it was 1 year cured nugs. I haven't stored differently, just sharing my experience with bovedas

Has anyone else had any issues with their Boveda 62 packs not being 62? I bought some a few months ago and I swear they are 72's...not 62. It says 62 on the pack but after 2 months the curing buds still will not go below 70. The bud seems fine. It just seems that there was a mix up somewhere. Anyone else?......yet:muahaha:

May be your RH meter....or the bovedas might be waterlogged...are they really heavy?

It could be the case that they have absorbed all they can and need to offload some moisture.

Munch- I've seen them up the RH beyond stated % before as well, though not by that much,... I think it does this when there's to large a pack for the volume it's in,...they do make mini sizes.. Also, storing them full time in the jar isn't needed if it's properly sealed,... from what I've seen, most folks get the RH dialed in where they want, then take the pack out,... my experience, for longer term storage, something around 55-58% seems to preserve the bud better,...

Ah..thanks guys! You rock. Waira, that makes sense with the pack being to much for the volume. Thanks!

:smokeout: ayuh! ......Trap buddy, good to see ya mate! :coffee::sleeping::coffee::sleeping: ...yeah, I agree on those %'s,...for smoking and storage!... wonder why they don't make them, or how much hollering by the MJ community will get them to,..we ALL know, Boveda is making bank on this MJ boom :eyebrows:,... and cigars have different RH needs,...- you know, those little silica gel packs work nicely for when things are a bit too moist, and seem to hold the RH well when kept in long term,...zero aroma too!
