Mephisto Genetics Bubbasquanch....BioBizz and Megacrop.

my Bubbasquanch desk top grow continues, she now thrives in the Fox Farm soil...…..Only feedings have been Optic Foliar Overgrow, and I have let the soil web food chain do the rest. I have introduced 2 new microbe products in my rotation, Mammoth P and Plant Probiotics...…

Hi LittleMT, very strange what happened with the biobizz soil..did you not want to risk using it again in case it was the soil or do you truly believe it was a dodgy seed ?

Beautiful pictures btw :)

I believe the seeds are immature, with the 2nd seed I just went back to what I know works. The 1st plant fried as if I poured a whole bottle of nutes on it, left it in the sun, didn't water...… BioBizz wouldn't do this, however I went back to what works, contrary to what you may read around here, Fox Farm soils are excellent and have worked for us for YEARS, from single plants grown on a desk to some large scale growing, indoors and outdoors, It is affordable and easily available. You simply have to understand how to grow in soil. I never seem to buy these elusive 'bad batches' that seem to be going around. I don't PH a thing and NEVER have with this soil. I to this day don't even own a PH probe. Nobody PH's the soil on these plants when they grow in the wild in nature, we try to replicate how they grow in the wild using Fox Farm soils as a base. With that said a PH probe is a great idea and more power to those that use them, for me, the biology in the soil buffers and maintains the PH but more importantly gives the plant WHAT it wants WHEN it wants. I will go back to using BioBizz and Megacrop as a feed with a different strain at some point in the future...… Maybe, is it possible, that I scored that elusive bad batch of BioBizz soil the 1st time I try it?????? Doubtful....I love Mephisto but suspect the seeds found in this pack. As even the plant that is now in flower had a very shaky beginning though it didn't fry like the 1st.

I wish you luck, but disagree about Fox Farm. That stuff is garbage mixed with bugs . It may have worked in the past for you and others, but the growing your own explosion made Soil, Coco, Peat, ect in higher demand. With higher demand, Quality suffers. A high number of people who have fungus gnats have one thing in Common...Fox Farm Soils. I ask people what Medium they are using when the say they have bugs. 70% or more use Fox Farm as their base soil.

That being said, you can get bugs from other mediums, your house or the hydro store. I am glad you got your other seed to grow! But I would not put it past bad soil vs bad seed. Good luck!

We agree to disagree. I have yet to show our large commercial grows. This soil works and has worked for years.
